nah my running has been really sporadic lately. hoping once the new year rolls around, with DD's school changes and everything else, i can get back into a good rhythm again.

Are you running on Sunday?  I have to work Saturday and am going to miss out on Betzwood.

I'm seriously contemplating slipping Reid a sleeping pill or something. He's been waking up at anywhere between 5:15 and 5:45 for the past week.  :luvcoffee: Except I can't drink coffee.  :'( It's also seriously messing with any attempt to exercise. GAH.

we gave DD benedryl once for hives and she bounced off the wall, i was secretly hoping for a good nights sleep :D

Anywho, DH got up early (for once!) this morning and woke DD up and then she woke me up  :grr: i am trying to motivate to get on the TM and my reward is i am going shopping before work :D I saw the cutest skirt at target the other day and then maybe to TRU since i got the groupon over the weekend. I have something to return at Sears too. I dunno how much time i will have.

DD is doing AWESOME at her new school. Previously, we had fights EVERY MORNING because she would not get her ass ready and out the door, no matter how early i started getting her ready. Today she got mad at ME because she was antsy to go to her new school!!!!  :bow2: this is the first day the after care lady is picking her up since we had snow day on Tuesday, she seems excited and prepared. My only concern is that she ate none of her lunch yesterday and her teacher said she sat with her and tried her best and got her to take a few bites. different lunch today, so  :fingers:.

That's great, meri!!!

And yeah, we've given Reid allergy medicine in the past - for actual seasonal allergies - but he's refused to take it lately. I think it helped with the sleep a bit, but even when he took it, he'd still occasionally wake up early. This has been pretty much all week, though. Ugh. Over Thanksgiving break, he slept until 7 every morning.

I just feel like I can't get up to walk if he's right between sleep and awake around that time - I don't want to be the one to wake him up, you know? And then if I managed to sneak out without waking him, if he wakes up later then DH has to deal with it alone, and DH is a grump a lot of the time anyway, and worse when Reid does stuff like this.  :sigh:

Sounds like my DH  :eyeroll: She gets really annoyed when she wakes up in a bad mood and i am like, wtf? you are about to walk out the door and i am the one tending to her and doing damage control.

I had a shitty ass run. My back seized up right before i got on the TM. Going to shower, pack my lunch and go shopping before work :D I have a late night tonight, so i better pack dinner too.

I didn't work out last night. I totally could have but it was raining and I am out of contacts and hate foggy glasses. And I misread the schedule at the gym and didn't like the classses scheduled (not a zumba fan). So... I skipped it. Dinner/eating was on track though.

Today, we'll see. I'm full of dread about this group session thingy I'm going to tonight. I brought running stuff so I can run on the TM (we have a small gym at work) before I leave. We'll see if that happens. I'd like to do SOMETHING today though, since yesterday I didn't do anything.

I totally screwed up the food thing this morning. I was out of pre-made breakfasts and ran out of time to grab cereal or toast or something. I did scrounge and apple and a few almonds at work and so far so good there. I should have brought a bar to snack on though. Lunch I'm covered for. But, group goes until 6:30 which means we won't get home until 7. Don't really want to eat *out* because I'm already doing that friday and saturday evenings. Friday will be pho though, so that's not terrible. But, regardless, don't particularly feel like spending the money or calories to eat out tonight. But, I know we'll both be STARVING by 7pm. hrmph.

Good luck, RA - I hope the group session helps! And good job on the food, even with the challenges.

I just realized I'm a dumbass. If Reid wakes up at 5.15, he can get in the stinkin' stroller and go with me. Duh.

There ya go! Although... you are braver than I. Tot in a stroller at 5:15 am is commitment!

Eh, that's only if he wakes up. If I can sneak out without him, I'd prefer that.

Ah, the stroller. I had 7 years of runs with those little feet sticking out in front of me.

I've been doing some much needed housework today. DH is working from home, and we had egg white frittata(s?) for brunch. DD has swim practice every night from 5:30-:7:30. With drive time, etc, that means we can eat at 4:00 or late, and I don't want to do late. Therefore, I've been eating brunch and an early dinner, and then taking some sort of fruit to snack on towards the end of practice.

I was going to go to the gym at 2:00, but I'm pissed at the boxers and boxing for business reasons, so I'm going to get on the treadmill instead. I'm kinda pissy in general.
I don't have time for laundry; I'm trying to have a great life.

Now that we're almost at the end of November, who's in for -5 in December?  I really need to stay motivated.  I've been doing very well despite a very stressful week, and hit 1x1 today.

Shut up mini. Just because google changed it, doesn't mean in elementary school, we got it wrong.

She's an awful, awful human being.

I tend to trust Mini on these issues

I'm trying...  I just started my thyroid meds today, so hopefully that will make this somewhat easier.

Debba, I think you asked about that, I don't think I answered (?)...  my NP found that my reverse T3 was high, which mimics hypothroid, which is the symptoms I have.  So I'm hopeful about this.  We'll see.  It's not like I expect magic, but it would be nice to see my body reflect lifestyle changes.
