yeah searching can be hard, i like to look at what other people post (friends and people i followed on pinterest along the way). I will search for vegan and get boards and then if people posts some pretty good recipes, then i will follow them, etc.

OMG, the progesterone gave me awful bloat when they upped the dose. Like, I hadn't gained any weight, but couldn't fit into my jeans anymore.  :nono: It did go away eventually. Ugh.

cgraz, I'm with you on the pinterest thing. I have it, I've used it a little, but I never really do anything about the stuff I've pinned. I dunno.

12-week visit today. Everything's looking good, and my weight held steady! The nurse was like, "We don't want you to diet, you know." I was just... "Uh, I'm not. Believe me. I'm not dieting. At. All." WTF? I'm supposed to only gain 15 pounds, but then the nurse is.... concerned, I guess?... when I stay steady? I'm FAT, lady. Believe me, there's plenty for the baby. PLENTY.

I know! The baby's doing just fine - nice strong heartbeat, the correct number of limbs (I think), measuring right on time, so clearly I'm eating enough. And I'm certainly not dangerously tiny or anything. So... WTF? I'm doing what you told me to!

Did you ask because there are some boards on the topic (weight and fertility meds)?  I'd certainly seek them out.  (Or did you just notice another Meredith among your followers and guess it was me ;)?)

Years ago (almost certain old CH/Coolrunning years ago) we split a shipment of PB2 and you sent a couple jars to me.  I'm that Meredith :)

Met DH for lunch - we got Thai food. Now it's all I want. Whatever they put in the sauce for my #15? I want it. MORE.

Sadly, I'm facing a likely blah (in comparison) dinner. :(

If i am prepared, i do well. I brought my soup to work yesterday and today in addition to my lunch and yesterday i never even ate my snacks (fruit) because i was not even hungry. Today was fine, i felt no mojo on my run and it was just a walk. I am trying to avoid eating some bread. Almost bed time i think i can make it :D

I've lost 5 lbs since Tuesday!  Last weekend I looked at an old picture from when I worked with the sports nutritionist in Maine 5 years ago.  I called him to see if we could work on line or over the phone and decided to plunk the $$$ down to work with him.  I am eating basically the same foods, but in different combos.  My main problem is my gut.  He has me eating every 2 to 2 1/2 hours. My other problem is no mindfulness of if I am really hungry or not. So having a set schedule of what to eat and when to eat it takes that piece away from me.  Nothing I eat has changed, but for instance, I was eating oatmeal with either nuts, fruit or peanut butter... He wants me to eat oatmeal with a scoop of whey protein and almond milk.  Apparently the protein is a better combo with the carb.  Ny calories are around 1700 (although two days I came in at 1500) but the frequent eating keeps my metabolism burning like a furnace....I eat 8 meals (some of which are either just a apple or just almonds)  usually at 6, 8, 10:30, 12:30, 2:30, 4:30, 6:30 and then real dinner at 7:30 ish.

Wow, MoS!

I've worked like a galley slave to take off 3 of the 5 vacation pounds and woke up this am to find 2 back on! I'm assuming it's just bloat, but still fucking demoralizing.

Shut up mini. Just because google changed it, doesn't mean in elementary school, we got it wrong.

Amazingly, when I weighed in Friday after the 10 days of now power and eating things like pasta, stew, pasta, oatmeal, and other stovetop-friendly foods, I hadn't gained. Still doing ok. So I celebrated by going out to eat with neighbors to the local Mom & Pop Italian place, and chowing down on chicken parmesan, rolls, and red wine.

Today is a new day.  :)

 :bow2: MoS

I am down a few lbs from my high high weigh ins of last week/earlier in the week. That makes me feel good. Will probably make another large batch of WW 0pt soup.

Good job, cgraz!! MoS, that's really inspiring. I'm working on holding steady for a bit longer - not trying to lose, just trying to not gain too much.

Holy crap, I just went through some of my pants to see what fits now that I am seeing the weight loss from the past 5 months really showing results and the size 10s I have been wearing are a little loose. I am fitting into some size 6 pants for work! I was a 12 when I started. I guess it really is making a visible difference now! Still size 8 for jeans - I do think some of those 6s are a little looser cut than a true 6, but I'll take it.
