Oh, a quick update on my pregnant coworker with all the issues? She had the baby on the 24th, a full 15 days before her due date. TEN POUNDS.

Yeah, I'll be busting my ass to avoid gestational diabetes, thanks.  :o

I know that some women just have big babies - hell, Reid was 8 lbs, 11 oz - but a 10-pounder a full two weeks early? I'm putting my money on the GD.

So my running is really getting back on track. We ran 4 days last week which is acceptable (5 would be optimal). Now I just need to get my eating under control.

Great job, MM! I was supposed to start back at the gym tonight, but my trainer had to cancel. He's starting a new day job on Thursday, so he's trying to wrap up at his current job. I'm okay with that - Reid keeps waking up at 5:30, so I'm exhausted.

I'm planning on getting up and going for a walk in the morning. Reid's been waking up at 5:30 anyway. What's a half hour earlier?

i am a fair weather runner!

I call BS!  Badwater is in no way considered to be fair weather!  :). But yeah, I don't like running in rain either.

I'm a bad person. I called in sick today. I kind of hate myself for it, but it's done now, and I really do have a lot I need to get taken care of here.

you are not a bad person, debba.  please.  you're taking a mental health day.  I took one two Wednesdays ago, badly needed, and it helped a lot.
enjoy yours and Happy Halloween!

vegan buffet. And they only had cake cut into 1 inch x 1 inch squares, so not too much damage. They had some avocado sushi with brown rice, and then i had a little bit of everything-- spicy string beans, general tsao's, sweet and sour "meat"balls, stirfry, etc. I had nothing fried, and just a little bit of rice, no noodles, so i was happy with it. I ate a ton though.

I don't mind running in a drizzle or light rain. A downpour or super-cold weather (for us) - BLECH. Noooooo!

Glad you had a good birthday dinner, meri!! My day off really helped. I'm still tired - I woke up twice last night, both within a couple of hours of the alarm going off - but I'm definitely more relaxed. Getting done what I did yesterday (and sneaking out to a movie) gave my brain a big ol' break.
