I am at the same weight I was at weigh in and feeling grumbly about it.

I'm still totaling up the weekend points, but I don't think I did too badly. Not great, but the scale is holding steady instead of going up. Considering I'm on an exciting array of drugs and have been all over the place with my eating (my parents got barbecue for lunch this weekend, and I'm a sucker for potato salad), and DH and I went on a date Saturday night, I'll take what I can get.

I'm hoping that I'll be able to breathe normally again tomorrow and can get back to exercising, if not tomorrow morning, than Wednesday.

Mini that is so sweet of your hubby.  I really want one of those edible arrangements but as much as they cost I tell myself I could just make one....but never do.

My weight has equalized I think.  I'm pleased with that.  I'm getting some muscle that even DH has started to noticed (a miracle in itself).

I ran 4.33 miles today, did my 10 minute abs - which thinking about it I should do more, and restarted my push-ups app but doing normal push-ups instead of girlie/knee ones.

Food has been good the last few days, with the exception of finishing off b-day cake.  I've tried a couple new recipes out for pesto chicken and maple/apple pork chops that were both pretty tasty.  I've been having smoothies as my snacks, too.

Anyone have a good phone application for an Abs routine?

I was worried that the weekend was going to be a total bust, since I went out to Kenyan's for his birthday.  It's a 4 hour drive, which is hard for me food-wise because snacking helps keep me awake, and also because we eat out a lot because his kitchen is not well-stocked at all.  I didn't have as much time as I wanted on Thursday night to pack food for the weekend, but I did get breakfast packed for both days and then picked up salad fixings for Saturday lunch when I got into town.  I also brought some veggies, yogurt, and string cheese to snack on.  I probably could have made better eating-out choices, but I didn't eat any cake on Sunday and resisted the urge to buy chips and candy bars when I stopped for gas on the road.  We did also go running together on Saturday, so that helped.  I maintained over the weekend which I'm happy with.

We'll see how next weekend goes, we're going out to Boston and Rhode Island to visit Kenyan's parents and I'll have even less control over the places we eat.   :sigh:  This weight loss thing is hard for me right now.  I feel like the whole wedding thing should be really motivating, but it's just not.

I ate great so far today and I got in a nice long run.

I think I forgot to stretch when I got back. At any rate, I have no conscious memory of doing so. I'll bet I'll feel it when I get up from the desk in a few minutes....

DH's only request for V day is the death by chocolate cake that i have made before. It is literally a bagillion calories per slice. I licked the spoon and then drowned the bowl in water to prevent anything worse. when i make the frosting tomorrow, i must be strong! sigh.

I am on a smoothie kick. If I resist the urge to add *anything* to it, it's not too bad caloriewise and makes a good afternoon snack. 1/2 cup 2% fage, 1 cup water (or skim milk, if I'm feeling daring), 1/4 cup oat or wheat bran, 1 banana, 2-3 cups spinach & 1tbs spirulina. The banana isn't on plan for me so I've been thinking about what else I could use (it gives it a good texture and makes it plenty sweet).

I do not like bananas in smoothies so I use pumpkin that I freeze into cubes for texture and some frozen berries for sweetness

Ra, what about adding a little honey?

I stayed within my eating plan for the day...my run this morning turned into a half hearted uphill walk and a short run. I count today as a needed rest day. My dinner tonite is grilled salmon, broccoli and  sliced baby red and purple potato baked with a bit of olive oil.

Tomorrow I go to HIIT in the am. (I changed my mind back).  :P

I think I'm going to try the pumpkin & berry idea. The pumpkin will giveit a similar amount of body. Does anyone know if the claims about yacon syrup not metabolizing are true?

never even heard of yacon syrup. I have been using very small amounts of stevia.

You can also use dates for sweetness but they might not be on your diet.

meri! I thought for sure you'd know all about yacon!

Dates are ok. Prunes are ok. Stevia is ok. Mostly with the bananas it's the texture though.

I am not talking to or about the scale today.

Warning: the M&Ms cherry flavor are delicious.  They taste like delectable chocolate-covered cherries.

Shut up mini. Just because google changed it, doesn't mean in elementary school, we got it wrong.
