I stepped on the scale today and it had been two weeks since I last weighed and I was down 5 lbs! Granted it was after my run, but I had eaten three times and I usually weigh myself after my run. I had to get on my scale 3-4 times since I thought it was broken.. It's the lowest I've weighed in forever. And frankly, I'm not even trying too hard right now. I figured I'd wait until after my half next week and put another big push on then before I start my marathon training.I am logging my food, but I have had wine and some pasta and I haven't been totally within calories. And I had upped my fitness pal to 1700 calories a day, not even counting my exercise calories.. I have been doing yoga 3x/week plus running 5 or 6 days. Some times I think I lose better when I add some calories in.
Yay MoS!I'm still struggling with binging. Candy and bread/crackers. I'm trying to break the binge/guilt/self-hatred/binge cycle, but it seems impossible. It's especially annoying because I'd just gotten to a point where I was happy with how my clothes fit, happy with how I looked in the mirror. Now I'm back to clothes being a tad too snug and looking lumpy. Not a good feeling heading into Spring and Summer.
Ugh, the only way I can gain control over most simple carbs is complete avoidance It's like a damn drug once I start; so for the most part I just don't get started...because once I do, whooo boy!
did you buy that green dress? Will you stiff fit into it?
Considering doing a total detox.Whole30 is on my mind. No grains, no sugar, among other things. Talk me down! Will it be too much deprivation?
Plus, nutritionally speaking grains are empty calories compared to veggies.
I'm too busy to google right now- compare nutrient density of whole grains vs. veggies. Unenriched grains.
