Lanarkshire, yeah, that's about right. Reid melted down on me this morning because I put a placemat down on the spot on the table where he wanted his smoothie cup. He wanted the cup on.the.table. Not on a placemat on the table. On the TABLE.  :eyeroll:

Yeah, foam rollers are super awkward, but they are magic.  Magic, I tell you!

I go back to work tomorrow.  My sleep schedule is incredibly screwed up, I couldn't sleep on Sunday night at all and I tossed and turned all night last night. I'm not supposed to do any exercise for two weeks, but I'm considering going to the gym in a bit and going on the elliptical or stationary bike.  I need to tire myself out so that I fall asleep at a reasonable hour tonight!

Foodwise I have been living on Easy Mac and popsicles for two weeks.  I am trying to figure out a good way to get more (soft) veggies into myself, I'm probably going to have to rely on green smoothies and eggs scrambled eggs with peppers and onions for a little while, and work my way back to salads and stuff.  I've got a pot of lentil soup (heavy on the veggies) on the stove now.  My appetite is fairly nonexistant, and I think I'm just going to go with that for a while.  It will return eventually, so I'm not too worried about that.

toddlers are bat shit crazy. the shit DD throws fits over is incredible. she gets hysterical if you have to pee because at that moment, she decides she has to and will fight you tooth and nail to pee first, even if you open the toilet and put her stinking potty seat on there for her and tell her it is her turn to go first  :eyeroll: :eyeroll:

woohoo!!!!!!

I have been trying hard to get back on track. I am getting my routine back and last night I was good with portion control. (We had enchiladas).

Today is my 48th. So there will be cake at work, fortunately it is a training day so there will be a lot of people to eat it and I can stick with a small piece! I am getting up to run right now. Have a good day!

I was down a bit this morning, too! WTF? I'm tired, but the acupuncture definitely helped yesterday - so I'm hoping that I'll be able to get up tomorrow and run.  :fingers:

I'm good at meal planning!!!

That's the only way I can make sure to eat wholesome things and use up everything I buy. That said, I did not plan this week but we are still doing ok with what we have. I have gotten pretty ok at making something that resembles a healthy meal out of whatever is in my fridge.

My keys to success: Make a list of meals and snacks based partially on what is already in your kitchen. Make a list of groceries. STICK TO THE LIST!!

More info later..

Nice!  I was down too.. It's hard to tell because the scale at the gym is about 5 lbs higher than my scale at home.. but I was very very happy with the scale at the gym :)

Also, someone in my training class mentioned I looked like I lost more weight.

My trainer got pay back today on me because I beat her in the 10 mile race by 14 seconds!  She's only 24

Happy 48th Mouse!

Good job beating the trainer MoS.

I did yoga at lunch yesterday and ate pretty well.  Treadmill at lunch today.  I carpool to work with DH and he stopped for a biscuit this morning.  I refrained, but I was jealous.

I need to be done with the thread in Yammering.

It is really getting to me too.

Shit like that really makes me feel like crap. I mean I guess I know people judge me but to have the fact that people that I like and I respect are probably judging me based on the fact that I am not as skinny as them makes me want to cry. Because if they judge people they care about you know they are judging the rest of us.

Me, too. I wasn't kidding when I said it was making me want to eat. To top it off, I just realized I have no hummus in the fridge here, so nothing in which to dip my veggies. :( I haven't yet decided what to do.

I ate my afternoon snack with my lunch. Not the worst decision ever, but now I have to figure out what to do for a snack!  :sigh:

The good news is, I don't have time to go out and buy a really good binge, so that's at least off the table.

i have to pick up DD in 20 minutes and face the dreaded Panera boxes, LOL!!! I have been pretty good lately, but i got no run in. I went shopping before work (the bathing suit!) and got held up at work by one of my chatting coworkers and i was planning on running after work. oh well. I have a 24 hour race this weekend, so i am sure i will make up for it :D I am looking forward to post race recovery to really get back into the serious training.

I have been really good about not snacking outside of my predetermined snacks. Apple, grapes, yogurt, etc.

Oh and that coconut milk yogurt i loved? it is on sale for the month and i have been stocking up.

Oh, yeah, that coconut milk yogurt is tasty. Virtually no nutritional value (no protein, as I recall) but tasty!
