Oh! I haven't tried that one. I was a little surprised when I looked at the nutritionals on the one I did try- it was basically a cup of sugar and fat, as far as I could tell. Tasty... but seemed like pretty empty calories. Sounds like the greek one is a littel better.

It is really getting to me too.

Shit like that really makes me feel like crap. I mean I guess I know people judge me but to have the fact that people that I like and I respect are probably judging me based on the fact that I am not as skinny as them makes me want to cry. Because if they judge people they care about you know they are judging the rest of us.

yup.

I've not looked through the thread yet but wanted to give y'all hugs.

Also, congrats on the weight loss a few of you've had!  Anyone else that has maintained or even gained, it is a lifetime process not a week long one.  Another

I had a fairly good breakfast this morning & have been drinking DFW in anticipation of a run.  Well, I got changed into my running gear, pulled my hair up, socks on, etc. and then laid on the bed and took a 2 hr nap!!  So, umm, I guess I needed it but a little frustrated that I missed out since the kids will be up any minute.

Coconut yogurt sounds great.... I got some a couple years ago and loved it.  I have no idea why I haven't bought it since.

Me, too. I wasn't kidding when I said it was making me want to eat. To top it off, I just realized I have no hummus in the fridge here, so nothing in which to dip my veggies. :( I haven't yet decided what to do.

If you have yogurt (particularly greek yogurt) you can make a pretty yummy dip with dried herbs. I like dill, garlic, onion plus salt and a little lemon juice (if you have it). It's great as is but you can let it sit for a bit to really let the flavors meld. Yummy! I mix in what seems like way too much in terms of the dried herbs and it comes out very flavorful.

Oh hell, I do have a little cup of regular greek yogurt - thoughts, anyone? It would save me a trip to the store tonight. How much of everything do you put in? It's one of those little cups that comes in the 4-pack.

I'd start out with a tsp of each herb and a big fat sprinkle of salt. Taste- if it's not yummy yet, add more. If you can taste the herbs but it's just not quite right- try more salt. I'm tellin' ya- dill, garlic, onion. It's a little like a dilly-ranch. You can add a little water or 2% sour cream to thin it a bit. Or milk. Or lemon juice.

In other news.. I started Halhigdon's spring training plan!!! YAY!!!!

I seriously lost my running mojo a while back. It was a vicious cycle. I'd get depressed. I didn't want to run. But running elevates my mood and makes me happier. But then I'm too sad to run. So I don't. Then I get sadder. Lather rinse repeat.

I just decided I was done feeling gross. I like my body better when I'm running, even though I don't really lose that much weight when I run. I just feel better. Mentally. Physically. So I went yesterday again and it was awesome. So I'm going again tonight. It'll be the first time I've set foot in the gym in months. DH just started going again when I ran last week. We totally motivate each other.  :heartbeat:

Yay, tricia!  :)  I know what you mean about the cycle of being down, knowing running will help, and then still not feeling like doing it.  It's hard to snap out of it sometimes.

I was listening to the Pandora 90's station today, and totally thought of you!

I feel so good these days!  Last night at track some of the woman I was running with in my group commented about how strong I looked running.. I really think the strength training (and I am not doing a ton.. just a little TRX, core work and pushup stuff) is helping me over all.  Because I am watching my food, but not logging like I was when I was in the BL.  And today I was down a tad even more..

And I was looking in the mirror this morning at my back and my shoulders and I thought to myself "man you look good!".  I'm only about 8 lbs away from my marathon weight but I'd like to lose 12-14 more.. I definitely think that is doable.

Of course.. In my life.. living along and not being involved with anyone, I am not faced with a lot of social situations involving food or alcohol so it's a bit easier for me.

great job, MoS!!!! When I lived by myself it was MUCH easier. I have a hard time with not finishing DD's food, snacks, etc. Like the other day she ate 1/3 of a granola bar, i took a bite and tossed the rest, usually i would eat the whole thing.

Oh and the Panera box, DD wanted danish, i do not particularly care for danish, so i only ate the bite she forced me to eat. My neighbors and her enjoyed it as did DH later on. I did get bread for DH, but have not touched it. I did eat a bite of cookie when I picked her up. Not too bad though. I just made DD choc chip cookies though, so trying not to eat any, they are still in the oven.
