Hope it goes well, caito - that's great that she could see you so quickly!

I finally dragged out my scale and it is broken  >:(  It kept giving me totally different numbers with a range of 8lbs.  I do not want to haggle with my scale!  This is one of the reasons why I do not weigh myself  :D  Does anyone have a digital scale that does not suck?

Well I ran three miles yesterday at the linear park, right before a storm blew in. The wind was gusting and there was thunder in the distance. It was awesome, but all the wind blew something horrid into my sinuses. I woke up with a sore scratchy throat!!!

ARGH ALLERGIES!!!!!! This always happens to me. I get back into my running routine, then I get cocky and run when I probably shouldn't. Then BAM. scratchy throat.

Yep, that's what keeps happening to me, tricia. Right now, the acupuncture seems to be holding. The mold count was 2524 yesterday, and all I am is mildly congested right now. Normally, I'd feel like I got run over, picked up, and compacted by a garbage truck with numbers like that.

Lately I come home from work with a sore throat every single day.

Yesterday was bad, and I didn't exercise outside even.  No idea why, I'm assuming it's something to do with the allergens looming around out there.

i never trusted any digital scale, three weigh ins in a row can yield three different #s, i have a dial scale.

My WW-branded digital scale has held up well, despite me standing on it regularly. I think we picked it up at Costco a few years ago.

Have you tried changing the batteries?

I have a Tanita body fat scale.  I never use the body fat part of it, but the scale is very accurate.  I got it at Bed Bath & Beyond several years ago with a 20% off coupon, so it cost me the same as a regular digital scale.

Hi ladies!  I've been lurking but not posting....I hate posting from my phone but I do most lurking from it.

Anyways, my exercising has been pretty non-existent the last few days.  I had a massage yesterday and did a quick 20 push-ups before she came into the room, so she could focus on my shoulders.   :hah:  I'm anxious for another run, hopefully today.  Eating habits are poor... but oh my the orange pound cake is so good.  I *must* get back into the habit of meal planning....somehow.

The kids have been crazy again lately.  This morning though David woke up with a fever.  So it explains his grumpiness lately, hopefully he'll feel better soon.  I also went & had my hair cut & colored for the first time a many many many months.  A nice new style and PURPLE layers underneath.  D & R keep saying 'purple hair' a lot.  :D  It's subtle unless you look closely.

Awww, poor David. I hope he's feeling better soon. And yeah, my exercise hasn't been good, to say the least.  :-\

So now I have a headache and a sore throat. Awesome. This is going to make the rest of my workday just awesome (and I cannot leave early because I am running an experiment). :(

Oof that sounds painful debba.

MM, hope your feeling better soon!

David was still running a fever at bedtime but hopefully he'll sleep it off.  He's been very cuddly today.  I was lucky to get a 6 mile run in earlier...felt so good.  I've been starving & eating constantly since then, ugh.  My huge weakness is caramel creams.  Why are they so good!?

There is a 5K this weekend I would love to do, but it requires a $100 to be raised and I don't think I could get that on such short notice.  Hopefully next year.
