good morning.  awful sleep last night; J woke us up in the middle of the night.  She did this over the weekend; not sure what's up.

Bolloxd, I hope David is feeling better this morning.  Glad you got the run in, and the purple hair!  Pics pls

And debba, nice to read that the acupuncture is working.  :w00t:

I am so excited.   I started doing my homework for my appointment yesterday, writing down what I typically eat and my exercise habits.  And then I kept writing a bunch of stuff that popped into my head that is related so I won't forget anything.  Poor Nancy, I'm going to talk her ear off!  :D

You pay to LISTEN to her and hear her advice!

I finally dragged out my scale and it is broken  >:(  It kept giving me totally different numbers with a range of 8lbs.  I do not want to haggle with my scale!  This is one of the reasons why I do not weigh myself  :D  Does anyone have a digital scale that does not suck?
Probably more than you want, but I really like my Withings digital scale.  Accurate, wi-fi enabled, nice to look at.

That does look nice.  I am fine with the price I am just not sure why I would want my weight on the internet  :D

Reid came back from my parents' last night and flat wore me out. And my temps have dropped, so PMS totally explains why I've been snacking more than usual. And then Reid woke up at 5.30 this morning. We let him "snuggle" in our bed. There was no snuggling involved. I have no idea how you co-sleepers do it. :luvcoffee:

Maybe a shuffle tonight - we'll see how things go today.

Down a bit this am. I was all gung ho to run or walk 5x/week for at least an hour. It hasn't quite worked out like I wanted but I did go last night, even though it was 81 degrees (sooooooooo hot for this temperate weather girl). I can definitely feel that my right ankle is nqr. It hasn't rolled on me, but my gait is definitely different.

We have some fancy body fat scale and it is very, very accurate. I used to weigh myself multiple times but it always gives the same number, to the .1lb, so I don't bother anymore.

I would like to admit something:   I really like tofu.   A few days ago I got a block of extra firm, pressed out some of the water, cut it up into squares, tossed it with garlic infused olive oil and garlic powder and salt and baked at 400 it til the outside got a little crisp and brown.  And holy moly, it's delicious.  I just finished the last few pieces for lunch and I miss it already.    I think the key was high temp and leaving it in a little longer than normal so the outside had a nice bite too it.

I  don't know what is wrong with me this week. I am so tired I can barely function and I have theoretically been getting plenty of sleep.

I love tofu too! I even like it raw and with nothing added to it.

I'm cranky because I had planned to run afterwork before an evening commitment but I forgot my running clothes at home. :(

I was lazy this morning. The mold counts are through the roof right now. So far, the acupuncture is holding.  :fingers: that it keeps up. My next appointment is Monday.

Also, I really, really want to talk DH into adopting another dog. The shelter's so overcrowded right now. :( I want one.

I've only tried tofu once... I think I messed it up because it was horrible.  DH & I both had bad stomachs afterwards, too.

Diablita, I tried to get pics but they are not showing the purple very well.  I'm already anxious to try another brighter color once it starts to fade.  I may try to get pics again later.
Debba, glad the acupuncture seems to be helping, that is great!
Meri, the time is flying!

Well this morning Rachel woke up with a fever.  Blah.  Both are grumpy but at least David's fever is gone...only now he's complaining about his belly hurting.  Also, Rachel actually asked to go take a nap...so you know she feels bad ASKING to nap.  I hope DH & I don't catch it.  Neither of them are eating well but they are getting lots of fluids.

I feel like I'm drowning in house work lately.  Hopefully I'll catch up some today even though I'd honestly like to run again...we'll see.

I like tofu a lot and it seems like the weeks I have a block of it and use it as my protein I lose.

I LOVE TJ's baked tofu but it's expensive. Have to try one of the baked tofu recipes.
But other then that I just cube the extra firm and brown in a teaspoon of evoo on all sides, then remove it, cook the veggies and readd it with whatever sauce to get hot.

I'm hanging in there. The mold numbers...  :yikes: :nono:

The fact that I'm not unconscious from drugs has to be a testament to the acupuncture. I should be passed out, and I'm only mildly congested. It's amazing.

Other than that, I'm dealing with period bloat/cravings and being pissed off at my husband. I'm also a lazy slacker, as usual, when it comes to exercise.

Hope y'all are doing well!

I am having a super rough week and I dont know what the problem is. I cannot get enough sleep and I end each day with a headache and sore throat. I havent even been able to muster up the energy to do anything but go to bed practically the minute I get home. Last night I got like 11 hours of sleep and I am still dead tired. WTF?

I know, I was just teasing. What are the allergy counts like where you are? Mold was at 8900 yesterday here.  :yikes:
