I had a race yesterday as well. A 10 miler with 40,000 people! It was crazy, but I had a great run, finishing in 1:27:40, which is I think an 8:24 per mile pace?
Good for you, Courtney! I'm hopeful about getting up tomorrow after the allergy week from hell. It might be raining, though. I need a plan B for those mornings.
I kind of hate grocery shopping. It's full of binge temptations for me, and I don't fare well very often. That's probably part of the issue.
See, this is where I think grocery delivery would be worth it! A grocery store near me used to charge a delivery fee (I think $5-10) and would deliver groceries to your house. You can order exactly what you want and not be tempted by all the yummies at the store. For me, the delivery service would easily pay for itself if it was that low, because I would avoid impulse buying. The downside is that you have to be home for a window of time, and if you forget to put something on your list your out of luck. But the good might outweigh the bad for sure!
Don't take it personally - toddlers are batshit crazy. At least, that's what I've concluded.
I finished it last week and it was too small, it was unfixable, so i am starting from scratch. Actually, it was too big, then i altered it too small because she threw a fit and would not let me measure her and i "eye balled it"
