Meals and Miles puts a lot of weird stuff on her veggies, but powdered Jello is not one of those things.

Mandarin oranges are delicious in peach jello!  Maybe I should make some of that, I bet it would feel good on my throat.

It's gorgeous weather outside today.  I wonder if going for a walk would be violating my "no exercise or strenuous activity" rule from the doctor?

MM - yay for the weight loss!  You did eat very well yesterday.  Nice job.

I have eaten so many f*ing strawberries I could puke.  Yet I still can't stop eating them!!

I got a 2 mile run in after some difficulty with the kids & treadmill hassles.  I've been in a mood today and lacking energy - not sure what is up but even the goldfish is pissing me off.

 :eats: NOT!

I think I pretty much survived the Panera box. I had a bite of a choc chip cookie and DD ate her cookie and the bread is for DH's sandwiches and there was a brownie for the neighbor, so hopefully she comes home soon! LOL

I did not eat extra snacks tonight (I'm allowing myself one, tonight it was a little Skinny Cow chocolate bar).  that is all.

*yawn*

I'm up. I shuffled. Thanks, Meri!

Now, if I could just do something about the damn mold. It's back. Again. The part of my sinuses that's directly behind my nose and at the top of my throat feels like there's a giant glob squished in there.  :mad2:

LOL, don't worry about it - we had new sod planted in the backyard yesterday, so DH has to get up to water it in the mornings now. :) And yes, you absolutely deserve a day off!

Does acupuncture help with allergies? I meant to ask earlier.

Deb, I am suffering too. It sucks that my zrytec, flonase and singulair hardly touch my mold allergies when they flare.  I am currently taking a sudafed in the am on top of everything else...it seems to help. (I take the fake sudafed..phenylfedrine 10mg, not the real sudafed.)

I have step class tonight. My plan is to eat only what I bring to work.

My stomach is really noisy this morning!! It sounds like this.... :sportscaster: :sportscaster:

Yeah, I'm on zyrtec and nasonex for the allergies, but it doesn't seem to help the mold at all.  :sigh: As of yesterday, the mold count was about 1100.  :nono:

I'll second the sudafed thing!  Yesterday morning I was a mess, and  popped my sudafed and it finally settled down.

But I don't feel horribly congested - that's the thing. It's "just" a sore throat, really.

Yes a cupuncture can help with allergies but it may take a while to see big results. Sinuses generally respon really well and really fast.

my girlfriend suffers with horrible allergies and had some really bad reaction to her zyrtec of all things and i convinced her to come in weekly and she has been coming in weekly for several months, off all meds and almost zero allergy issues except when we went to the zoo Monday. Pretty awesome :)

grrr. i am annoyed. i had to cut my run short about 20 minutes. I had to drop something at the neighbors and they would not let me leave and it was 20 minutes, then the water delivery guy came and DH told me there was no delivery today when i asked if i needed to get the bottles ready, then i got a business phone call i had to take, then my coworker calls me with a hundred questions and so on and so on. argh. well, i had two good workouts today, just cut short a little, so overall i cannot complain, but jeez, throw me a bone!

That sucks! And thanks for the info - a friend of mine has an acupuncturist that she uses. I'm going to shoot her an email.

Debba good for you for shuffling!  I'm just so not a morning person.
Meri that sucks when you can't get a full workout done.
Mouse enjoy your class!
Diablita cutting back on extra snacks makes a huge difference for me.  Even though it is hard!

We took the kids to a gymnastics place this morning - they have free run of the place with about 10 other toddlers.  So it wore us out a bit too.  My eating the last day or two has been terrible.  Strawberry cheesecake, brownies w/ice cream & choc syrup, fast food burgers & fries...blah.  I can't control the portions :(
