I am a bottomless pit of hunger today.    And it's a rest day.   And it's just going to get worse because I am at the peak of marathon training.

We're going out to dinner for DH's birthday - just the two of us. There will be wine, and there will be dessert. I've been good today, but I'll be so ready for dinner tonight. It's been a really long week with the in-laws. I just hope they manage to get Reid to bed.

I didn't eat a bunny butt cupcake, but I did eat a delicious marzipan frog.   And there's the most delicious cream-filled cookie in the fridge, laughing at me.  I feel like I've binged even though I haven't had that much in the way of treats.

I so very much want a bunny-butt cupcake right now. However, I'll just have to "settle" for a very nice red wine, a fabulous dinner, and some chocolate mousse for dessert.

I'd eat the ass off a bunny cupcake too!

leggova & AS - good work to both of you on the loss!
debba - enjoy the evening.   8)

The kids refused to nap at all today, again.  It's my own fault really....I may have given them too much sugar before naptime.  Oops.  So, I only ran 1.5 very fast for me miles...it felt great.  Rachel is actually sitting on me now & dozing off...so cute.

Not sure about dinner tonight.

I have a night with some gals in an hour or so, and it will include about 2 glasses of wine.   :preen:  I've planned it into my day, even making sure I got a 30 min run in for safe measure.  I do need to find something to eat before I drink, or I'll be hammered.  :D

I was not good at all this week. In fact a lovely all lettuce salad sounds amazing right now. I half expected to have to squeeze myself into my jeans. I am sure I gained at least 5lbs of water. I feel like a blowfish... So puffy! My ankle has been killing me all week too. Oddly, snorkelling seemed to really bug it! Anyway, here's to two days of healthy eating before the next round.

Went to the mall this morning, which is usually the 7th circle of Hell, but had a good time. Tried on stuff to figure out what size I am.  8p in most things.  Didn't intend to buy anything, but spent way too much for a jacket at White House Black Market.

Now I don't have to go to the mall again.

I've totally failed this week.  PMS sucks bunny asses!   How do the women who have PMS in this thread deal with the carb cravings and lack of motivation to exercise.

What circle of heaven was it, since you got to buy something???  :)  Nice.

I am having a hard time getting back to my exercise program since being home.  I am going to start tomorrow by going to my step class.

Mini...good for you! Do you love the jacket?

Yes, but I haven't taken the tags off -- I'm still thinking I might have buyer's remorse.  This one but the pictures don't do it justice.  It looks fabulous on.

i just watched this movie, Hungry for Change, by the people who made Food Matters.  Not sure if any of you will see this post in time, but it's free until midnight tonight.  They talked alot about how the food industry manipulates the food to make people addicted and went into alot of details of how things work that we put into our body.  It was not preachy or propaganda ish so if see this and have a chance I recommend checking it out.

Miss, I just sort of grit my teeth and deal with it, as far as the carb cravings go. I'm never terribly motivated to exercise, so a lack of motivation isn't much different. :)

I gained half a pound this week - considering everything with the in-laws being here, DH's birthday, our date, etc., I'm pretty pleased with that result. I was really afraid I'd erased all the losses from the past few weeks entirely.
