I have my final weigh in tomorrow.. not final for me, because I am not stopping, but final for the BL contest.  Two people in my time in in the running to split $1000.. for the partner competition. One told me she actually took a laxative (pysillium?) or something like that?  The last few days.  I'll stick to my fiber 1 thanks..

yesterday with 20 mile run, did not do too bad. I did not really track, but i estimate around 2600-2800 calories. Tofu scramble and fruit for bfast. My goal for the week is not to eat DD's left over toast :D There is nothing i love more than good bread. If i was on a desert island and could only eat three foods for the rest of my life, it would be good bread and butter, cheese pizza and ice cream :D i am up this morning, but i should not have even weighed myself, i am always up after a long run! grrr. i should know better, but with my frustration, i want to see a change in the right direction!!!!!! I think we are doing well with the weaning as well. She is getting cut off after my race at the end of the month, but i am slowly trying to phase her out. She only nursed for about 5 minutes yesterday before her nap. No nursing in the morning or bed time (i was on my long run when she woke up). we also moved her to her room (again) and if she stays in there (we put a huge bed in there!) i will try to get some early morning workouts in and start heading towards two a days.

Sounds like it was a general binge weekend.  I suck too.  Pizza, Chinese food, munchkins, bread, bread, bread.

Three things I learned from overeating this weekend:

1. It doesn't taste all that great - pizza is never as good as my yearning/craving leads me to believe.

2.  It doesn't make me feel better - I don't have more energy, in fact I'm more sluggish.  I don't feel full and satisfied, I just want more -- even when uncomfortably stuffed.  I don't feel better emotionally, in fact I get more anxious which leads me to eat even more.

3.  I am lucky to have immediate punishment on the scale - I'm 3 pounds up from Friday.  That strengthens my resolve to do well this week.

86 Days to June 1 - Let's get back on track and start the week right!

Meri - 20 miles!  :bow2:

Shut up mini. Just because google changed it, doesn't mean in elementary school, we got it wrong.

20 miles is crazy awesome!

While I didn't go crazy with the eating I have slid of the wagon, too. I am up about a pound with only 2 weeks before I leave. DH was lamenting he is up also. So we are renewing our focus.
My step class is no longer the Sunday secret! There were 22 people there yesterday. It was a fun class, and according to my HRM I burned 589 calories.
We had crab for dinner (yum).

Today my plan is to get my run in, and stick to my food plan at work. No wine when I get home.

Bridal shower weekend.  Didn't eat well, but also could've been much worse.  Plus I have basically a whole new kitchen, which is good motivation to not eat tons of Chipotle.

So, I still feel crummy today. But the scale is down from sat. Hmmm... Maybe karma will be waiting for me tomorrow. Good food all packed for today. Trying out hummus as a snack.

SG I haven't tried any of the idiet recipes. I really want to try the crackers, but haven't gotten around to ordering the corn bran.

The scale is moving in the right direction again, and the soreness from last week's workouts is wearing off - so yeah, pretty sure last week's horrifying numbers were all water weight. Whew! Did okay this weekend on the food front, even with book club.

Was going to get up this morning and run, but I slept through two alarms. Oops.

Mini re it not being as good as you thought it would be..... big 1!

Courtney, let it go. One thing I think you need to work on IMHO is your need to analyze and obsess. Acknowledge it and let it go. Vow to try harder.

Saturday did an 8 mile MTB-Geocaching loop with my friend Marilyn, Sunday 11 mile hike-Geocaching with Marilyn, Bob and Nick.
I treated my self to a MR burger with Swiss and mushrooms at Ruby Tuesday's but I had string beans and grilled zucchini for the sides.
In retrospect I don't even remember tasting the Swiss cheese. I usually get cheddar,  guess I could have gotten none as well.

I was down on my scale about a pound Sunday AM, hopefully will be down at my WW weigh in Thursday.

Well, for some crazy reason I woke up at 4:15 or so this morning! Alarm was set for 5 ish, so I ended up just laying there awake.... Got up and did workout 1 of week 3 of Jillian! Today was a new workout (every 2 weeks you get to change to 2 new workouts). Uh, yeah. She kicked my ass. I was pouring buckets of sweat off! And some of the moves are not in my range of motion. I do the best I can, though. I can't imagine if I were really unfit. I mean, I'm not super body builder woman or anything, but I've been working out with weights for a while. This was hard. I have a feeling I won't be able to lift my arms tomorrow. :P I still love it, though! Plan to run after work, too. Either 3.8 miles or 7...

Food was ok this weekend- birthday dinner out Saturday night. I had a bowl of soup + 1/2 starter portion of mushroom risotto + 1/2 molten choc cake. I was STUFFED. Oh, and I had 2 glasses of wine. Mmmm. Yesterday, I didn't end up running or really doing much of anything outside the house. Eating was ok- oatmeal, veggies for lunch, rest of the leftover risotto, and pasta last night for dinner.

Sorry to hear some of you are struggling. It really is a new day, though. You can't undo what you ate, so just move on from here.. it's all we can do day to day!

Trying to figure out if I can squeeze in a run tonight. Might be vaguely unfair to DH, though, since I met a friend to catch up over coffee late yesterday afternoon and kind of stuck him with Reid for a few hours. Bad Mommy! Hmmmmmm.....

I know that what I eat is more important than exercise when it comes to losing weight, but I have noticed that when I'm working out regularly I make better food choices.  I've gotten kind of lax with exercise lately, so my goal for March is to exercise more.  I'm hoping for 5 days a week, but the main rule I'm giving myself is that if I didn't do it yesterday, I have to do it today.  It's supposed to be really nice today, so I'm going to go for a run after work.

If it was only that easy :)

My need to analyze is actually fairly recent, in the last year or so.  I used to just blindly binge before that and then be angry, sad, etc about it and beat myself up.  Vowing to try harder is the story of my life.

I am the same way Nadra.  Diet and exercise go hand and hand for me. So it is key for me not to take too long a break from my exercise routine or I backslide.  Once that happens it is very difficult to get on track.

I'm pretty close to deciding I'm ready to get back to work, even if it can't be my favorite things. I'm not quite there yet... but getting closer.
