I am totally in the mood for new boots, Mini.  They make me happy!  I can't make myself spend the $ on the ones I want, tho.

Meri, at first I thought you meant you had eaten too many bananas... :D

And that's about normal blood pressure for me too.

Wore a skirt yesterday that was too snug a few weeks ago, with my new boots.  Thank you Zappos!

Awesome!  I wore my skinny jeans out to dinner last night.  The ones that the CH talked me into 2009 that always felt too tight to actually go anywhere. I can sit down in them now!  Which means they'll be completely out of style anyday now.
Ellen stole my joy and I want it back!

I want a new pair too. But I should probably focus on fitting back into my favorite pair of brown ones.  :sigh:

Thanks y'all.  VP pretty sure it was a honeybee since there was a stinger left behind and I saw it fly away.  Generally yellow jackets will keep attacking and keep its stinger... so that was our conclusion.  Also there was a very stubborn honeybee harassing me the day before near the same place.

Took the kids to the toddler gym today.  We had the whole place to ourselves...fun but also a little strange.

I spent far too much money at work today but got $16 of extrabucks so I'm happy...I may have purchased shit ton of chocolate.  Oops.

That BP would be slightly on the high side for me.  Which is why I faint sometimes.

And meri, mooshu vegetables are my favorite Chinese food take-out dish.  We have only a handful of Chinese restaurants in town and they're all either awful or they are noodle shop-type places.  I love The Noodle Shop (one of them downtown, near a killer shoe store.  I think I know where we're having lunch tomorrow  :!: ) but I miss mooshu.

So. Much. Food.

Actually, I didn't do too bad today, but I also have early pregnancy bloat, which is why my pants don't fit right. Ready for that to end!!

Bolloxd I hope David is feeling better - Reid's never been stung. I'd probably freak out with fear.

Took m-i-l out to dinner.  Had papusas.  Feel stuffed, which as usual makes me want to keep eating.  Sigh.

Shut up mini. Just because google changed it, doesn't mean in elementary school, we got it wrong.

Pupusas?  Salvadorian food?  They're really good stuffed with squash and cheese.

I think we are lucky that none of us are allergic to bees but the first one, and all others really, make me nervous.

I got an awesome 8 mile run done this morning, I feel so much better.  Just what I needed.

One pupusa was filled with pork, one with spinach and cheese. They were delicious.   I am still full.

Mmmm!

So I weighed in on Friday and hit a good milestone, down into a new decade. That makes me happy - would like about 10 more lbs. And I have a couple of pairs of pants that are looser now. I think I've lost about 14 lbs since starting.

But I'll probably undo it all with birthday festivities - went out for drinks & appetizers with work friends yesterday, and a fancy dinner out tonight with mr. cgraz. Treated myself to a run in the park this morning though, so it's all good.

 :)

So I went out for Chinease last night. I know better and I will pay all day today but it was so yummy! I can already hear my belly rumbling though.  :(

I also looked at the grocery store for Asian sauces that aren't soy based and there was not a single one (out of maybe 20-30 choices. Even black bean sauce was black soybeans.  :o

didn't i post about my DH making black soy beans instead of black beans?

you are just going to have to trial and error with your own sauce makings i guess. AND THEN MARKET THEM :D
