4.3 miles, recovering from yesterday. Broke in a new pair of shoes I'm going to use as my recovery shoes, the Brooks Glycerin 22.

Weather was gorgeous.

2 mile warm up, 12 repeats of 60 seconds at 5K effort then a 90 second jog, 2 mile cool down. It ended up being just a smidge under 8.5 miles. Another really fun workout.

5 miles and 8 8 second uphill sprints.

Last week I was shirtless, yesterday I'm in long sleeves and gloves.

3 mile run with six 1 minute strides. No end goal and no plan, but really feel myself slowing down too much lately.

That's kind of a Mona fartlek. Good workout!

13 with 2X 2 mile tempo, a tad under marathon pace, and 4X1-1:20 getting down to 5K pace.

2 mile warm up, 4x90s60s30s(half marathon, 5k, mile effort respectively) up hill with a jog back down between each run, then 2 mile cool down. Ended up being just over 8 miles. My first creative workout from my coach and I had a lot of fun.

Chilly enough for a light long sleeve shirt and a pair of thin gloves for the warm up and cool down. My hands get chilly quicker than they used to. I also was out past dark without a headlamp 🫣

Nice job!

90th marathon?! I don't know much about marathoning, that's cool that they have pacers for various paces. How do you differentiate them?

Pacers are carrying a sign on a stick with their finishing pace time on it.

I organize pace rabbits for a few races in my area and we give the pacer a cap with rabbit ears on them with their pace time written on the ears, as well as a sign and a pacer shirt.
