I have the same question as last year!
4 mid 20s coming to dinner and I am too cheap to spend $140 on filet.
I am drawing a blank.  I did a slow cooked Pork Butt for Thanksgiving, which was awesome so would prefer to do something else.
WE ended up doing shoe ducks last year, so would prefer something different as well.

So 6 of you? Look for sales on a rib roast if you want beef. Or go to BJ's (or similar) and get a couple packs of ribeyes.

Late morning run to let it warm up a bit. Super sunny out with the sun at the low point of the year. 


Saw a good fender bender, as a commercial van was backing out of a driveway, the oncoming car decide to pass the backing van, going on the wrong side of the road. Van went forward and the passing car didn't make it pass, and they clipped bumpers good. Ripped the bumper off the van and the car had it's front passenger panel off, exposing a leaking windshield washer reservoir. Good times.

Didn't run yesterday due to cold rain, but this morning was perfect with mild temps. Got in 12K.

Had to wait till the cold rain cleared out, so didn't get out till after 4pm when it was already getting dark. So I choose a route through upscale neighborhoods to check out Christmas decorations. A little misty at times, and needed to wipe my glasses a few times. 15.3K done.
