Yeah! Go enjoy it.  :)

"Bad" food weekend for me, but c'est la vie. I enjoyed it all and ran 8 miles on Saturday, so I'm not beating myself up. I really enjoyed Saturday night's meal - it was a great dinner out at a nice steakhouse as part of a work function. And the food was excellent. I did refrain from too many "extras" like having only one glass of wine, a nibble of dessert, and not overloading on apps or bread. So I focused on the parts that were really good - filet mignon with risotto - very yummy.

nice work!

I was off the wagon for a couple of days (I think my plastic surgery and derm follow ups freaked me out a bit) but I'm back to it.  And I've worked out every day for the last several.

I did miss it.  So glad you went and very happy to read that you're ok.  Were you calm during the waiting period?

Not to make excuses or anything, but I've been a wee bit busy these last few days and have not made time to run due to utter exhaustion. boo. Once we get on a schedule and routine, I'm making it a priority to get out and run.

I SWEAR!!!!!

Eating healthy food requires so much chopping!  Today I chopped cauliflower, zucchini, onion, garlic, sweet potato, poblanos, green onion, cilantro, and radishes.  If I had my own prep cook, I'd get so much more done.   :P

lol @ SG.  You need your own cooking shoe.

And Tricia, I'm so happy for you.  How are you guys doing with all the big changes?

I am proud of myself. I have made a new plan to run before I leave work in Berkeley at least once a week because the route is hilly and I can run while it is still light out. I have now done this two weeks in a row! Yay for me.

So true! It is the prep that kills me. So much chopping. Sounds like you were making something really good, though!

I made these stacked veggie enchiladas.    http://www.perrysplate.com/2011/03/stacked-roasted-vegetable-enchiladas.html

(The radishes were just for snacking.)

I really like to chop... it's one of my favorite activities in the kitchen.
