I haven't seen hemp milk anywhere, although my naturopath has recommneded it.  Today after I see her (in the hippie dippie crunch mecca of Boulder) I'm going to stop at one of the health food stores to check there, and to get some Lara bars and maybe some other natural, gf snacks.  This weekend we are traveling back to KS, which means eating on the go and limited options.  So if I can throw some snacks in my purse, I should be ok.

I'm planning a run today.

In other news, this is a busy workweek and it was rapidly declining into a bad eating week - potential for lunch out every day, etc.

You should be super proud of everything you've done to get your week under control. For me, 90% of staying on track is being able to just grab something quick, when I need it, without too much thought. That means putting in the work at other times of the week so there is always something there to grab.

Don't worry too much about the pizza, it happens! But, might be worth a talk to dh about accidental sabotage- it's so easy to do!

Why are you trying to lose weight?  You bought a size 2 skirt at Target????

I reached a weight I was very happy with this summer and am trying to maintain that. Of course, my weight fluctuates up and down a bit and currently (following the holidays, travel, and general lack of discipline) I'm at the upper end of the 10lb range I'd like to stay in. It makes sense to me to find a little discipline and get back to where I'm a little happier than let things continue to slide upward. :)

If I hadn't eaten lunch at Chipotle, I probably would have had at least another slice...but that lunch left me feeling full (and huge) for most of the afternoon into evening! I think feeling so gross was what made me want to turn things around.

I was starving last night when I got home. I passed  Wendy's, a Whataburger, and a Chipotle, and I damn near stopped at every single one. They all sounded delicious.

I settled for Honey Nut Cheerios instead. Not *nearly* as satisfying.

It's the salt! I'm dying for salt right now!!! And WB is probably the saltiest fast food out there.

I managed my 30 minutes running, and then did 2 sets squats, shoulder press's, and kettle bell swings with 40lbs. ( kettle bell was with 20)
I am always glad when I exercise so I have a hard time understanding why it is so difficult to motivate

Nice work! I have the same problem re: feeling better after I excercise but having a hard time getting started. Joining a gym and doing classes has helped a little. But, my running is slipping. So hard to keep the running up with the weather has been so stormy and yucky and I haaaaate the treadmill. Brought my running stuff in case I get motivated to hit the 'mill at lunch. :(

I have never seen hemp milk but I never looked either.  Milk isn't much of an issue for me since I never drink it and rarely use it. Cheese and treats are my issue.

Gah, same here.  I had planned a healthy meal for when I got home, but after trying on jeans for an hour at different places, I wanted to eat a bag of cheetos and then go for ice cream.  And my gluten intolerance saved me from a binge on valentine's candy.  I wasn't perfect, I did eat a Reese's egg, but that 170 calories was way better than how many was in that tub of cherry heart candy, I feel certain.  *sigh*

It's raining and gross outside, which is saving me from Whatasizing my ass today. There may still be Doritos in my future, though. Need to see if I have any change.

I see this lady on the train every morning eating her breakfast of one slice of dry wheat toast and four nuts. Please let me never be this person.

LOL!!! I ended up just getting a bag of Doritos from the vending machine. It's too rainy to go out.

I would rather be her than the woman who eats a donut or a muffin every day for breakfast.

I suppose. But I like food. I think of feeding myself boring bland food every single day as punishment.

Plus I like muffins.  ;)

Thanks RA - yeah, I didn't want to take the wind out of his sails this time, but I was wishing he hadn't got pizza! If he makes a habit of it, we'll talk. He's out of work now, and being home all the time, he's finding ways to "help" so I am trying to appreciate things and pick my battles.  ;)

The question of why watch your weight / watch what you eat when you are xyz size is something kind of on my mind now that I've hit some good goals. I know people think I look ok, but I feel like I still have to be on top of things, or it could easily go back the other way. And even though I've hit some big goals, I do want to go a little further, but I'm starting to get that weird kind of feedback from people when I talk about doing WW, or being aware of making certain kinds of choices, or turning down stuff. It makes me want to say "how do you think I got this way?! I need to keep it up!"

And debba, as for salt...that's what my latest infatuation with the pistachios is really all about - so satisfying to crack those salty shells and slurp out the nuts! It's so wrong, I know...but I can't help it.  :D

I sometimes laugh at myself counting out things like crackers or nuts, or chocolate chips or delicious tiny chocolatey goldfish...but I always give myself more than 4!

Not me.

I'd rather be chubby than obsessed.  Not that you can't be both at the same time,
