My sister just told me about that site, too! I made her baked chicken parmesan on Wednesday and it was delicious.  :)

Good work!  Glad the forum is back  :)
Me, too.  I don't know what alignment of the planets in causing the turmoil in the ch, but I avoided it like the plague. I like this forum..it is a little hidey hole for me. My favorite people are in here.

Anyway....

I am a HFCS avoider.  Lucky for me I don't like, or eat most of the stuff it is in.

I am doing terrible. My mojo from earlier this year has slipped away and I am having a hard time getting it back.  It is so weird how sometimes I have it and sometimes I don't. I am slowly gaining.  I don't want to lose the same weight over and over dammit.

We are dog sitting this weekend, so I won't take the boys paddleboarding today...3 dogs is too much. I think I will go to the gym and get a swim in...

ps.  DH ordered his paddle board yesterday!!  Soon we will be able to go on outings...a dog on each board.

Good lord, for the first week of a new WLC, I've been eating a lot of crap.  I need to get to a produce market and get excited about some vegetables!

Mouse, do you have an extra lab this weekend?

I do!  I have Annie...she is Hanks' littermate.  She has been part of the "family" for 9 years now...super easy keeper. Her parents are my "adopted parents"..the ones whom we have our Sunday dinners with.  They are the people who stayed up here when DH and I went to Hawaii.

I met Pat one day at the beach when Hank was about 6 months old. I was still deep in my grief from first DH's death and really did not know anyone here. Pat called out to me because he though Hank was his dog running back to the beach. Turns out she was in his truck. So we exchanged info and they adopted me.    :)

And I feel your pain....to top it off DH is slow cooking ribs today.

Mouse, we need a Hank + Dewey + Annie pic if you can finagle them all in one frame!

I too love this thread, even when I'm not on the wagon.

I have made quite a few of those recipes and they have all been winners. Another good one is Cleaneatingmag.com Lots of good ideas there. I got a gift subscription for my birthday and CANNOT wait until my first issue.

There is one more site, that I think was mentioned here before... http://www.100daysofrealfood.com/ Lots of ideas for cleaner eating. She uses a lot of wheat, so if you are avoiding bread, you'll have to modify. But there are a ton of good lunch ideas to just eat cleaner.

Debba, congrats on your weigh-in today. yay!

I'm so happy that this board is back and the thread is back over here.  Much safer, much better.  I have not been a super healthy eater today but not too bad.  We're going out for dinner tonight but not sure where; we'll see how that translates, food-wise.

I just made Sephora very happy. Getting to go was my reward for hitting that goal. I may have also hit Target on the way home to pick up some coloring books and sticker stuff for Reid for the plane trip. You're welcome, American Economy!

Tricia, I just had a quick look at 100 days of real food (because it sounds like my kind of thing) and what do you know, I already want to make the larabars on the front page! Thanks for the link!

Congratulations Debba!!  Nice work!
Mouse, love the pic.  I'm also very jealous of the paddle board.
Welcome cgraz.  Glad you are joining us.

I got 3 miles done today and my push ups.  Spent some time in the pool with the kids.  They have very quickly gotten good at swimming with floats on.  Pizza for dinner and Pavlova for.dessert.

We leave for the beach next weekend and I cannot wait!

OMG, we made the yummiest mac and cheese for dinner tonight. Like... I may make a triple batch next time and just eat that for as long as it lasts.
