Hee, thanks everyone.

Courtney, I bought very light blonde hair color and just used that on the lower portion.  Afterwards I used the pink dye.  I got mine from Amazon because it had so many good reviews.  I loved the purple in my hair the first time but it did not last long at all (by 3 weeks it was virtually gone)....that may have been because of the brand (Scrupples) that was used or the color, not sure.  The color this time is Special Effects - Atomic Pink and I have Fish Bowl Blue to use next time.

Debba,   at least you recognize it and are willing to get back on that wagon.

Speaking of food...  I'm not a giant yogurt fan.  But I found some yoplait light that I like.  Raspberry Lemonade.  It's oddly delicious!

:-\ Does that have aspartame in it?

I once tried to get my hairdresser to put purple highlights in my hair and she basically implied that I was too square to pull it off. :D

Do people still say "square?" I think if she's saying "square" she may not be the best judge.  :D

I love the Chobani Champions Very Berry and Honey-nana. Yeah, it's "kid" yogurt. But it's damn yummy.

Do you know what brought on the binge?

Sheer stupidity? Not really, no. I went to get cash out from the ATM at lunch so I could pay my trainer tonight, and drove past a gas station and thought, "Hey, a Coke sounds good." And I walked out with a bag full of crap and ate all of it.  :-\ I really can't pinpoint a reason, which is almost more frustrating than anything.

My gripe with Chobani Champions is that, ounce by ounce, it's like 3 times more expensive than regular Chobani.  And regular Chobani isn't cheap to begin with.

True. But I use it as a morning snack, and it's actually pretty damn filling, so I'm still pretty pleased with it. I feel like I'm getting my money's worth. I don't always feel like that with Yoplait.

No she didnt say that...I was paraphrasing. She kind of hesitated and then said I don't think it would be a good idea for you.  :D

YES!! I feel like if it has a big chunk of protein that will sustain me and make me NOT CRANKY, I don't have a problem paying extra for that.

chobani is $1/container here, that is not bad, especially when my coconut yogurt is twice that  :eyeroll:

i believe most commercial regular yogurts have HFCS and/or aspartame in them. And food coloring.

I'm on day five of an eight day vacation so my Healthy Living is taking a bit of a backseat.  I'm trying not to go crazy, but still enjoying seafood and an occasional drink or three.  Instead of worrying about what I'm eating, I'm concentrating on smaller portions, but I usually do that anyway.  Also, I have not done any exercise despite bring my clothes.  Oh well, I don't think I will have any trouble jumping right back on the wagon when I get home this weekend as I was happy with the results I was seeing.  The biggest bummer is it is raining here at the beach and the temp is low so I haven't even been able to enjoy my weight loss in the swim suit I bought for this occasion.   >:(    It has to be really hot before I like getting in the ocean.

Doesn't have to be. There are several even in my regular grocery store where this isn't the case. You just have to read the lable (also, watch out for gelatin).

Nope, not new. I grew up eating Brown Cow, Nancy's, and mountain high. But, I agree- dannon, yoplait, and that ilk are full of crap. I don't buy those brands. I wonder if this is a regional thing?

Now a days, there are a lot, lot, lot more options. You just have to read lables and stay away from the big coroprate ones.

those are the "organic" or "natural" ones in the fancy separate cooler in a whole different area of the market. I was talking about the ones in the dairy section at our store, which are all blech. And once i bought DD the Stoneyfield toddler yogurt and it had FISH in it, for DHA  :eyeroll: >:( :eyeroll:

my eating has been really good, but today, just ok. I have been running about 10 miles a day and definitely not eating enough and was just HUNGRY this afternoon and had a piece of bread and butter and a little bowl of left over pasta from DH's lunch. still not too bad for the day since i had miso soup and fruit for lunch. I have a new recipe to try for dinner, a roasted eggplant lentil curry.

Ahhh, ok. I see what you mean. I still consider those 'commercial' yogurts. I'm fortunate in that my grocer stocks them all together. They've basically eliminated the health food section and just put the foods on the shelf next to the regular stuff (peanut butter puffins are right next to the kix).

yeah, I was surprised to see fish in something recently too. Might have been yogurt but I think it was something else that is normally "safe".
