Mine's in Rhode Island.  Weather.com says 50-67 and sunny, but I think it's really too soon to tell.  It starts at 7:30am so I'm hoping for the 50s.

Cox?

I was down 2 lbs this morning . That's a typical daily change for me but I didn't let it be an excuse for me to go out to lunch . I ate my sandwich . I think the strength training is paying off . I feel strong and tones!

This happened to me this week and I ended up with one of the best runs ever.. Hope your was good.

No it sucked badly. I had a sore leg muscle from a cramp the night before so that didnt help. But I finished and that is all that matters.

Thanks, onawhim! :)

And yeah, I don't make enough money to do a WLC the Barry way!

Awww.... he's all talk. I don't know whether people are really going to do the money thing, but if you want to be a part of it, please don't let that deter you. You can absolutely participate without paying any fees or fines.

Good job debba for getting out there & shuffling!   You too tricia!!  Can I ask why you need 30 gal of milk!?

I had my first good long run since the relay.  I did 6.5 miles!  That is way more than what I was doing before the relay so I'm pretty darn happy.  I felt good for the most part.  I know I'm gonna be starving soon so I need to figure out a plan for dinner.

I'm not going to join the WLC but will definitely cheer you guys on.  I need to define a new goal for myself to work towards.  I just need to figure it out and work on the details.

FSM help me, I just signed up for the WLC.  It coincided with me getting pissed off enough to do something. I have my fitbit, my treadmill and tons of DFW.  I even dug up my scale from the storage unit.
Not sure how all the $$ penalty stuff will pan out? Seems a little odd but I'm sure it will all make sense. Guess if I gain weight and give Barry all my lunch money it won't be the worse thing in the world!  ;)

I'm guessing Tricia's milk buy was for the coffee shop. I hope!

Good job on the 6.5 miles, Bolloxd!

Yes, for the coffee shop!  :) I love getting it at Costco because it's in two-pack boxes that are easier to load and unload.

As an aside to that pic on FB, my brother posted, "why are you roaring? I don't get it." hahaha. ROAAWRRRR!!!!

I'm not doing WLC!  It always seems to have the reverse effect on me for some reason!

Duh, coffee shop!  Yep, makes sense now.
I'm sure all of you joining the WLC will rock it!

I'll be hanging around this thread for my daily updates since it's not officially WLC in here.  I surprised myself and actually did my push-ups routine this evening...the bad news is it has been so long that it was hard as hell, and I sucked.  At least it was the push I need to get back on track.

Thanks for reminding me I have to do my pushups today!  Doing the 100 pushup challenge app on my iphone.. girly ones but it's still tough!

Well hell...I have been mia for a while and I come back and see Trotter's thread. Bah.

I have been having a hell of a time lately. I am managing to keep up with the exercise, but my portions have been creeping up and I am seeing the result on the scale. I also have been eating a lot of breads, which wreak havoc on my digestion so I am not a happy camper.
I am going to restart logging everything I eat into mfp, and really try to eat small portions this weekend and see how it goes.

It is so hard to get back at it when you stumble.

I hope everyone is going good.

Today I think we are taking the boys to Clam Beach for a run, and then heading home to do yard work while the blue sky lasts.

I had cheese dip, salsa and chips + tortillas for dinner last night. :( I split them with a friend at least, but still. I haven't run since last Saturday. I do plan on running today (soon). I need to do my dvd workout, too. Waiting for a late breakfast and coffee to settle. Going to order the bridesmaid dresses at 3 today. :)

R- glad you found your friend! Sounds scary. You are right to say you will support, but not enable. Other people's drama is hard to deal with without getting sucked in.

Tricia- good job on the 2 miles! It's a start. :) Try to remember that good feeling when you're talking yourself out of a run. I find that helps!

And yay to all the other good runs lately! I need to get a pre-work routine, but it's been so hard with this damn commute. Getting up at 4 after getting home at 7 the night before just doesn't work well for me. This week, my brain has been in overdrive at bed time. I can hardly get to sleep by midnight.  :nono: Three.more.weeks!!
