Is the wedding tomorrow??? woo hoo.. that came up fast!

Week from tomorrow.  Still fast!

And I can eat like a normal human this week, enjoying all the social stuff without worry.  Not bad.

At my water consumption peak, I might have been close to 2 gallons a day, but that's water. And I don't think I quite made it to 2 gallons.
probably at my highest, while nursing and parched, i drank around 100-120oz/day. now i am in the 60-80oz mark.

I had 6 liter-size bottles in the fridge at work and I just refilled them. It wasn't unusual for me to go through 4 or 5 a day and then have a little more water with dinner at home.

Didn't do so hot last night for dinner, so the scale was up a bit this morning. I'll be drinking as much water as possible and re-weighing tomorrow. :)

Don't make brownies.    Focus on your goal.  Have some fruit.

Speaking of poop.

I've been having some strange IBS-like things happening the last couple of days. Like EVERY time I eat I get light cramps, feel a bit nauseated, then I usually have to GO. I haven't pinpointed anything weird I've eaten. I could only eat half a sandwich before I started feeling sick.  :(

Do I have a tape worm?   :yikes:

Today I went to the gym and did about 70 minutes on the elliptical. I wanted to run, but I wanted to do longish cardio and I ran 10 miles yesterday so I thought it would be wise to do some cross training instead since I hadn't run 10 miles in a long time.

I stepped on the scale after (I love weighing right after I work out and have sweat! ) and was down a few lbs. I haven't been really tracking my food. I know I have been careful with my eating, but I know I can take off another 10 lbs if I really try and get serious..

I also lifted.  I am loving how my arms and shoulders and even my core is starting to look.

I was also looking at some old race times on athlinks from my 2008 and 2009 races when I qualified for and ran Boston.. Man, I was some kinda fast then, and I'm actually feeling like I might be able to get close to those speeds again.. I say close, because I am 4 years older and you know, you can fight the aging process completely!

I'm baaaack! I have been eating crap for the past month. I'm ready to get back to it tomorrow. I restart with stage 1 of the "idiet" tomorrow. I have all of my food and I'm ready to go. I have felt like such crap the last two weeks, I'm excited to start feeling better and continue my progress toward my goal.

Yay!  Me too. I mean I have not been eating too much like crap, but I have not been as diligent as I should.  Back to logging this week.

Scale is still inching down. I had a few slips this weekend, but I'm not beating myself up for them, just picking up and moving on. As of tomorrow, I'm 40 days out from a friend's wedding, so I'm starting my Grand Plan (workouts) tomorrow morning. *gulp*

I'm wfh today so I decided to combine breakfast and snack into a 350 cal smoothie- 1 cup of greek yogurt, 1 frozen banana, 2/3 cup frozen berries, 1/4 cup wheat bran, 1T spirulina, 3 cups spinach, 1.5 cups water (makes a full blender). 2 grams of fat/30 g protien/20g fiber. Not a bad way to start the day (not strictly on plan, but except fro the banana, these are all things allowed on day 1- so I'm going with it).

I had an odd weekend, myself...  I wish I knew what brings stuff like this on.

I used to wish I had a tapeworm, because I thought I could eat whatever I wanted and be skinny.  :D

Stuff like this happens to me also. I know that accidentally ingesting soy is a trigger but I have no idea what
t other triggers are.

I can never seem to pinpoint a food, but I suspect it's tied to something like that.

Since it isn't all the time, I've surmised that my diet soda is not the culprit :D

Meri- I haven't been around much the past couple of weeks- did you have the mirena removd? Did the dr give you any idea of how long until you might see any potential benefits from having it removed?

they could not get it out, i had an ultrasound on Thurs morning at the hospital and have been waiting for results. there is a mega thread called women stuff talk in Yammering about it. I am really upset and depressed over the whole thing. Depressed over feeling fat. And just not happy at the moment with anything.
