I just googled that relay!  Wow - to say that looks challenging is an understatement!  Looks scary as hell and I admire both you and Diablita for having the nads to do this!!

Meri - it is the Soldier's Marathon here at Ft. Benning.  It isn't until November, but believe you me, I need all the extra time to get some sort of prepared.   :)

You're in Columbus? I'm up the road in Atlanta. :) Good luck on your marathon! I'm not there yet in wanting to do one. I keep saying the day I get to the end of a HM and I feel like turning around and doing it all over again will be the day I decide to do a marathon. :D

Meri- I can't imagine running 2 runs in one morning! And when I run first thing, I find a glass of OJ is a good way to keep the stomach happy (and give a bit of sugar to my system.) I've been trying the new Silk soy mango smoothie this week.. just a few ounces before my Jillian workouts. Helps me not feel nauseous by the end of it.

Yep, in Columbus.  Are you running  Peachtree RR?  I  :heartbeat: Atlanta and always try to get DH to move there.  You should come down to do the 1/2 in Novemeber.  It is an awesome race!!

I may have to buy some faux yogurt. I bought some awesome coconut milk greek yogurt the other day but when i went to buy another, i realized it was $2.39/container!! like a little single serve container  :e) but maybe i can find another, less expensive one i like.

Curious... can you elaborate on these products?

Yes, I'll be doing the Peachtree! Are you? If so, we should arrange a meet up. :) I would love to come do the half in November, but I won't be living in the US anymore by then (getting married in Aug and moving to London!)

You're too kind teetime.  I'll be running with you in mind.

I guess if I'm gonna jump into a relay race then starting with the most difficult one is the way to go.  My butt hurts just thinking about it.

Yes, I am doing Peachtree!!  We are staying in Midtown, so a meet up would be great.   Last year we sat at Frog's and drank $1 drafts and chatted with perfect strangers about the run.  Fun stuff.  Let me know!  Congrats on getting married!

yogurts made from dairy alternatives. i generally buy DD coconut or almond yogurt, sometimes soy. this one, the So Delicious greek style was really good and i usually find dairy alternative yogurts gross. this is the particular one i tried http://www.sodeliciousdairyfree.com/products/coconut-milk-yogurts/vanilla-greek
not sure what other info you would like, but i can help :)

I did my second run, about 50-ish minutes on the TM, my legs were tired. I actually have not eaten lunch yet, i am kinda nauseous. Maybe this is good for weight loss in more ways than i imagined :D

Big food change today - I'm still having my PB&J for lunch, but instead of pretzels, DH cut up some fresh veggies for me to have with some hummus. Yum! Morning snack was Greek Yogurt, afternoon snack will be a handful of almonds and a string cheese. We'll see how the new plan does.

Trying to figure out how many servings were in that baggie o' veggies. It was a sandwich bag of broccoli, red pepper slices, sugar snap peas, and baby carrots. Any thoughts? Maybe 2 servings? I know a normal serving size is half a cup...

Food was good yesterday and good so far today. I'm using the fitbit and myfitnesspal.com and it seems to think I have a deficit of 500 cals. Also we fixed the treadmills today - I think we fried them putting them in the wrong plug so we had to get new consoles. Hopefully now everything will work right.

debba- 2?

So my appt was lost, she went to church rd, not west church rd, VERY different places in our town :D I *just* ate part 1 of lunch. I got some low carb wraps at the market and they are vile, i have gotten others in the past which were palatable, this was pretty plastic like.

Meri, that's kind of what I'm thinking - a serving is 1/2 a cup (unless it's a leafy green), and there was easily a full cup in there. So yay!

Would you mind sending your DH to my house to conduct some training? :D

Probably about 2. I eat raw veggies with lunch every day (it is a habit I started when I first joined WW). It really helps fill me up!

It's a new one for me, but it went well today. :) Yay for veggies! And almonds, even though they use up a decent amount of points. The things you discover when you're in your 30s...
