Up another 2, for a total of 6 since Sunday.   >:(  >:(  >:( When will I ever learn that self-medicating with grain and sugar is not a good idea?  Fuck me.  It will take ages to get rid of two days of emotional eating.  It goes on so easily and off so hard!  FML.  I am so pissed at myself.  I have to cool down or I'll eat more.   :fsm:, please help me eat my normal meals today and no extras.

On the positive side of things, I did week 1, day 1 of C25K last night.  Felt good, didn't want to stop running at 60 seconds but tried to keep on schedule.  My knees, ankles, and feet are feeling it this morning.  The worst part was my bra wouldn't stay in place and my flabby thighs clapped together sickeningly.   Can't wait til tomorrow for W1, D2.

Mini, you are in it for the long haul. The overall trend is downward, focus on that. You've been kicking but over a sustained period of time  and that alone is a great achievement. Weight loss is never a straight line.

I am up two today. Totally expected.

Mini, hang in there - believe me, I know how frustrating it can be to see that scale go up.

Did W5D3 of the C25K app, so it's not the dreaded 20 minutes yet. Based on today's performance, I'll be repeating today's run on Thursday, because... yeah.  :nono: I did it, but it was a struggle. Oh well, I did it, which is a huge improvement over not doing anything at all. Gym tonight, too. I need to crank up the DFW today.

Right now, waffles and a smoothie for breakfast. Meeting DH for pho for lunch. Dinner is leftovers - not sure what I'm going to have yet. I have yogurt and veggies in the fridge for snacks.

I am still pouting over the weather forecast for my Maui vacation.  :sigh:

We leave next Tuesday...and the 10 day forecast is predicting rain, clouds and rain for the most part. If I wanted rain and clouds I could stay home in Humboldt County!

we are considering paying a penalty to reschedule for April..... but it is $600.00 each. for the flight, and I am not sure if I can reschedule the place we are staying.

eta: we are going to suck it up and go.....we can't reschedule the rental....

So my lunch was a big piece of red velvet cake and dinner was a bag of salt & vinegar chips on the way home from the grocery store.  No exercise.   :-[

Gym tonight. 300 baby burpees, 300 squats, 300 Throw the Medicine Ball Up Against the Wall and Catch It, and 2 1-minute planks.

 :whoa: :stupid:

I'm scheduled to get up tomorrow and do yoga. We'll see.

Could have used a few more veggies today, but whatever.

On the plus side, I ate well yesterday.

Now the Debbie Downer report:  The scale, which rocketed up the moment I over-ate, stayed put at +6 when I ate right.  There ain't no justice.  My knees have been inflamed and painful since Monday, so I won't be doing C25K.  Maybe I'll try again in the fall.

And now I have pnemonia or tuberculosis or a cold or something.

Debbie Downer, signing off.

I'm feeling better.  I took a peroxicam for my knees and my lungs don't feel quite so leaden.  But I'm still staying home and drinking plenty of fluids.

Very disappointed it's not tuberculosis.

Ugh Mini. Not fair!

I'm coming to terms with the fact that I have two stall points in my cycle. I think I'm experiencing the mid-cycle stall. I had hoped there would be a chance I might see a new decade before my trip. But, I leave in 9 days and I'm holding steady- despite not cheating even a teensy weensy itty bit. So, whatever. This is the weight I'm going on vacation at and it'll be fine.

I have no idea what peroxicam is, but I hope it helps. Maybe all the water will help, too?

Feel better soon Mini.  When I started the C25K (for the 3rd time because of my knees) my knees were really bad....lots of icing & stretching & ibuprofen really helped, but I had to be consistent with it.  That made the difference for me.  Plus I kept going, although I had to do it at a very slow pace...like, 2.5 mph on the treadmill.  Once you get rid of the crud maybe you could try again and just be very gentle with yourself.

So, I paid for yesterday's horrible eating with the scale and a lot of bloating.  Doing OK today though and about to go run.

RA - just think how far you've come!  Even if you don't quite hit your pre-vacation goal you have done a fantastic job.
