Good luck today MM!

I saw another new # on the scale this morning.  :D I don't know what I did to deserve this, but I'll take it. I feel like I'm eating exactly the same way I did through the 3 weeks I was stuck. Just when you think you have this weight thing figured out... Now I'm back to hoping I can make it into a new decade before my trip. It's just 2 weeks away though so, I doubt it.

I went through my whole closet yesterday and donated a huge bag of stuff. Anything that was stained, or the hem had fallen, or I had saved hoping it would fit me better when I lost weight (but it didn't), or that I didn't love the fit on- out! I have a few things I'm going to try and have tailored. Of course, I had to try on every stinking thing and now I'm all annoyed about sizes again. I have some 8's that are a little loose, but still fit. All of my 6's fit. Some of my 4's fit, though a bit snug in the pants still (shirts fit though). How can I fit both a 4 and an 8?

MM good luck with the weigh in!
RA - it's odd and frustrating how the sizes can be so different.  Still, nice that you cleared out the clothes that just weren't getting used....more room for new stuff!
meri - the time change messes up the twins too.  Well, actually they are OK...it is me that it bothers the most.

Just finished up a 4.5 mile run and some push ups....I am starving.  I'm always so hungry after a run.  I'm tempted to make an Orange Pound Cake either today or tomorrow.

My black eye is looking worse than yesterday and my cheek is still sore to touch.  Anyone know of a way to clear up bruising quickly?

Ran 3.2 miles today, and felt great; feeling a bit of pain in the surgery area tonight but I don't care! Just glad to have gotten out there today.  Can't seem to not go over my WW points; but today is the beginning of my second week so I hope I will be more successful.

Congrats to everyone that is having WL success!

MM - good job!! Just think of it as antag having more to lose than you, so he needs a head start. :)

Miss, seriously, it's OKAY if you eat those weekly points!

RA, hooray for a new number! The scale was up this morning, but then down this afternoon to a good spot, so I think I'm okay.

The time change messed us up, too, except it meant that Reid slept in really late. No complaints, other than that I hope he goes to bed on time!

Went to lunch with a friend... which ended up kind of weird. I don't like to talk about dieting with skinny people. I just don't. This is one of my skinny friends. We went to a thai restaurant.  I ordered a veggie stir fry kind of meal with the tofu not fried. She commented that I didn't get my usual noodle dish. Then she commented that I didn't get my tofu fried (because she knows I prefer it that way). Then she commented that I didn't eat any of my rice. Then she commented that I didn't finish my meal and didn't want to box it up (this is one of my new things... if I eat a meal out, I eat half and don't take the other half home usually- in this case, I ate all the veggies and some of the tofu). At the end they bring a tiny scoop of crappy mango ice cream on a spoon. I didn't eat mine... yep, commented on that too. She's one of those people that can eat/drink whatever the hell she wants and is still a size 2- despite eating like crap (I suspect she eats one large meal a day). Oh, I also ordered mango sticky rice- this place does it soooooo well and they don't have it on the menu unless they are getting good mangos. So, that wasn't great- but I'll have a light dinner to compensate (I still have some roasted brussles so I'll probably have those and maybe an egg).

Man, that would irritate the hell out of me. Why do people think it's okay to comment on what you are or aren't eating?

This sort of thing truly makes me want to punch people.  And I'm totally a lover, not a fighter.  But this brings it out in me.

I'd either want to punch them or mess with their heads.

Wait - I'd do both, actually.

Yesterday did some emotional eating.  My father-in-law's health is declining and it's bringing up memories of when my dad died.  So I ate about a thousand calories of graham crackers.   Seriously - two packs out of a three-pack box.  But given my planned deficit, those calories shouldn't have put me up much more than a thousand over what I'd need to eat to maintain.

The scale was up 4 fucking pounds this morning.  FML.  I've got to figure out a better way to channel my emotions.

My husband was wise not to comment on my graham cracker binge.

RA, I would have went ballistic on anybody commenting on what I eat/don't it.  Mind yer fucking business!

YAY to MM and antag on WW success!

Awwww, Mini. I'm sorry. I'd probably have binged, too. If it helps at all, I seriously doubt that a graham cracker binge could have caused you to gain 4 pounds overnight. Otherwise, Reid would weigh more than I do. It's probably water weight.

I'm on Spring Break this week. It's going to be very challenging to not fall into my old habit of "Oooooh, I have the house to myself! I'll go to the grocery store and pick up a binge for lunch and NO ONE WILL KNOW!!!!" Yeah. Last night I was trying to figure out what to do this week, and my brain just went "Peanut butter cup ice cream!"

But I had a number on the scale this morning that I haven't seen in a good long while, so I'm planning on ignoring my brain as much as possible.

Need to go for a run later this morning.

LOL.  But sorry about your FIL's health, Mini.

I am back with ya.  I haven't dropped a pound and need the scale to keep going down.

Mini...

Debba- that definitely helps build motivation, doesn't it?

I'm back up .4lb today. Not shocking considering the salty/sweet/carbolicious meal I had for lunch y'day. Today will be a DFW day!

Down 3 lbs WOOHOO!

Even with my Girl Scout cookie binge last night.   :-[

Speaking of GS cookies, last night everyone in the family had some GS cookies and we all slept HORRIBLY.  Tossed and turned all night, felt like we had 2 cups of coffee.   :wtf:

I just googled to find out if there is MSG or even caffeine in the cookies but I haven't come up with anything yet.  It is the only thing we all ate the some of.

I had a hell of a time sleeping last night, too - I had chalked it up to the time change, though. No GSC in the house at the moment. (I'm lying, there are some in the freezer, but I'm pretending I don't know that.)

And yeah, seeing that number was really motivating. I'm waiting for the fog to burn off to run so I don't get run over. Near zero visibility right now. No thanks!

We've discussed this before. Women's sizing sucks and varies a ton. When did they come up with this size 0 shit? Try to ignore the number on a label and if it fits well, or can be altered to fit well because it's a piece you love, then wear it. Cut the damn size label out.

Men's sizes do not vary like this. It's another ploy to manipulate women!
