This morning had pants anxiety.  It's very warm today, so I thought I'd bring out the Spring khakis.

I tried on two pair.  The first fit ok, but it was too clingy and made me feel naked.  The second pair was less stretchy, less clingy, and felt better.

I actually took photos to compare:

Nakey

Dressed

Note that at work I am wearing a jacket to camouflage my gut.  My ass looks better in the nakey pants, but my legs look thinner in the looser pants.

What forced the decision was that I got some eye makeup on the nakey pants, so they got tossed in the wash.  Then on the way out the door I got bike grease on the other pair.  I was destined to look like a slob today.

Scale down a bit despite snitching a biscotti from the boss's stash yesterday.

Down 1.6 this am. I'll take it, even though I fully expect to be up 2-3 tomorrow. My latest breakfast concoction is 1/2 cup yogurt, 1/2 cup pumpkin, 1/4 cup oatbran- a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice, a splash of vanilla and a tiny scoop of stevia. This is a riff on something I learned from the low carbers about 10 years ago (at the time it was full fat cream cheese + pumpkin, etc  :o)

you're looking positively thin mini!

Not fair Meri! I call foul!

How does one get eye makeup on their own pants?
Can't see pictures at work from photobucket so can't comment on them.

I was a disgusting pig the last two nights. I did however verify the fact that I can not buy peanut butter.

Looking good, Mini! I have a couple pairs of pants like that - they make me insane.

Hanging in there, scale-wise. I honestly can't remember what yesterday's number was, but today's was down from my official number last week, so okay. Gym tonight.  :panic: I'm going to tackle cardio this weekend put together a solid plan and figure out a way to make it happen. Next week is Spring Break, so I can nap if I need to. :)

It's quite easy.  I sit watching the news as I apply my makeup.  I take it out of the makeup case and rest the little compact of eye shadow on my leg.  The stupid stuff falls off the brush and onto my pants, where it bonds with the material and cannot be dusted off.  I don't learn from this experience, and repeat as necessary.

Skinny?  Me?  Thanks!

Heh.  I keep getting shimmery gold eye makeup all over my face whenever I use it...  I keep doing the same thing over and over!  D'oh!

My two days of eating did some damage. 3 lbs!!  But  I know alot of it is sodium and I am back to logging my food today, so I am sure it will come off.

I have to say I am proud of  myself for stepping on the scale to be aware of what I was doing.. In the past, I would just avoid the scale knowing I was up, live in denial and oblivion for a few weeks and before I know it be up 10 lbs.  So yay for me for getting on the scale!

That is why I get weighed in weekly at WW even when I know I am up. Accountability and not living in denial!

Oh, and I forgot to tell you guys! I saw my trainer for the first time since my accident. As of this morning, I'm down 15lbs since then. The first thing she did was ask if I'd lost weight. No one else has commented (which, I'm actually happy about). Of course, it's her job to scrutinize how my body is working, so it makes sense she'd notice if something is up (she can usually also tell by watching me ride where I'm sore. It's a bit spooky.)

Oh! And! My cw is back on the hcg diet and apparently has lost *9* lbs since monday.

I admit... it's tempting to think I could be near my goal weight by the time I left for st john on the 23rd. *hangs head in shame*

There's no shame in being tempted by quick weight loss, RA. Lord knows I have been. Hell, I'd probably do the liquid diet thing under a doctor's supervision, but I can't afford it. It sucks to struggle and try so hard and to know that you're doing it "right," and then have some jackass walk in and say they got shot up with hcg and dropped 9 pounds in four days. Bitch.

The good news is, the next time she walks past a burger joint, she's going to gain it all back.

ugh. life is just not fair! i had a really good run today though and really kicked up the speed. watching Biggest Loser helped :D

I think my hormones are going haywire and may be part of my issue. I am trying to wean DD and will at the end of the month, so there are days we barely nurse, so i think my hormones are a bit wonky. I felt like i was ovulating last week and today i had some tiny bit of blood, not spotting, but a tiny bit of blood, will spare you the details. My face is breaking out too! So, maybe this is part of it? i know in the past, with PMS, i could easily gain 6-8 lbs of water weight right before my period. I am just a specimen of amazing bodies in action :D

And meri, yeah, hormones can easily be the cause of your weight going bonkers. Hormones are tools of the devil, I'm pretty sure.
