Turns out the Dukan Gallette I made this morning is only 2 WW points with strawberries and bananas on top!  Woo hoo!

I'm liking this already.

One of my FB friends lost 35 lbs on WW (y'all may know who I'm talking about since she is a former CH'er).  I am very inspired.
Not at all!!! When I first started WW, way, way, way back in the day, someone suggested that you eat as you normally would in the first week, and track the points. That gives you a sense of where you're truly starting and where you're going to need to make changes. I still have areas where I can tweak things a bit, but I'm pretty happy with my food, at least.

I mean, if you used up every last one of your weekly points today, then maybe there's an issue, but you get the points for a reason. Use 'em! And nadra, I got nothin', but I've had that happen to me before, too. Did you exercise heavily today? Or even yesterday?
I only dipped into 2 weekly points.

my weight was just +1 this morning. Makes me less angry! LOL. I did really well yesterday, got my run in and ate about 1300 calories. You would have been proud, more protein-- i had tofu scramble for bfast, grapes, apple, salad, baked tofu, apple, strawberries, lentil sloppy joes sans bun, steamed veggies, and a few chocolate animal crackers of DD's for dessert.

YAY Meri!

I'm +1 from Friday, but that's better than Monday when I was +3.   Feeling exceptionally pleased with myself today.  I'm wearing my newly altered skirt, tights, boots, short-sleeved shirt and suit jacket.  I can do anything in this outfit!

Nadra, I find I'm most hungry on the days before the scale's about to take a dip, no matter how well I eat.  I read it as the body telling me it doesn't want to change, eat more so I can maintain!

Bolluxd, I love pre-planning and pre-prepping meals.  It makes it so much easier to stay on track when I'm not standing at the fridge hungry, wondering what to eat.

Heard about a new food delivery plan called fresh diet.  They deliver fresh meals to your door every day -- for $30-$60/per day!   It would cost  $3-5000 for a 90-day get fit for summer program.  Well, I only have 84 days left, but that's a shitload of money.  For $3-5K I could go to a luxury spa for a week!

Shut up mini. Just because google changed it, doesn't mean in elementary school, we got it wrong.

i have a patient who is doing one of those meal things locally. Yep, it is a TON of money. And hers is all vegetarian, so probably pennies to prepare! LOL.

Yeah, we have one of those fresh food delivered things - it's called My Fit Foods. I don't make enough money! Plus, what good is it going to do me if I lose all the weight having someone else cook for me, and then have to learn to maintain all on my own? Hah! That would never work for me.

The scale is down from the workout-induced gains last week, thank goodness. Of course, I had another awesome workout last night, so that might not last. We'll see. Whatever, I got to kickbox. I wish I got to do that every time I went to the gym!

Miss, if you only used 2 of your weekly points, then you're doing just fine. :) I was SO happy when WW changed and made almost all fruits and veggies free. Makes my life so much easier!

Has anyone heard of or used the Daily Feats website? I'm thinking of trying it for my runs - to see if it can help motivate me.

Yesterday was every meal out with my son.. breakfast, which I was ok on 2 eggs over easy, toast and home fries..
Lunch.. was not until about 3:45 and a splurged on a burger and fries.. so good and I had not had one since I've been on the BL.. and since we were at a beer boutigue.. two glorious, definitely not Bud light type beers...

Since this was an odd time to eat, we were both pretty famished later at night so we ordered a white pizza.. garlic, olive oil and cheese.. He also picked up a box of Girl Scout cookies while at the pizza place. I did have a few..

We did walk miles and miles yesterday so I don't think I did too much damage..And I had my first session of training group today.. since the contest was over, we did not do any of the cardio intervals we usually do.. but focused strictly on the TRX suspension training with a few kettlebell moves thrown in. It was hard, but I love TRX!

I picked up bagels this morning and wil eat what the day brings... It's nice to take a few days of not logging and my body can probably use a break so I can come back stronger.. I do still want to lose about 12 -14 more lbs and those will be hard..

I am setting my limit til Sat of not worrying and then getting back to logging on Sunday.. Tomorrow and Fri should be fine as I will be back at work.

Rewards!  I'm thinking of setting a reward for my next 5 lbs.. Actually.. when I take 5 more lbs off and keep it off for two weeks, I am going to allow myself to buy some workout gear from Lululemon.. way too much $$ but I do feel it's good to reward oneself at some times.

Eating lunch now - I have to run out to the grocery store nearby in a few minutes to see if they have something we need for dinner.  :nails: I'm hoping that being full will prevent me from doing anything stupid.

I think it is great that you are enjoying the time with your son, and you have a great attitude in regards to finding a good balance.

I also treat myself to lulu clothing.  I love it and even though it is pricey, I am finding it lasts longer than the cheaper stuff, so I buy less.  I love their skirts for tennis and running.

Pushers are hanging out near my building.  GSA is evil I tell you!  Evil!  Luckily, I didn't have any money when I went out or I'd be stuffing my face with cookies at this very moment.

Well I did great today!  I still have 16 points left for dinner.  That means I will be drinking a glass of wine.

You should see how many points Antag gets a day. He can eat for lunch what I am allowed for an entire day.  >:( He had a 22 point lunch yesterday...I think I hate him.

MM, is Antag doing the WW for Men? Is it different? I'm trying to get DH interested.

He joined with me last weekend at the meeting. It doesn't seem to be different except they get a ton of points ( >:(). I know from past meeting attendance that men lose weight quicker also.

I think the WW for men is really just marketing.

Down another pound.  3.5 more and I'm where I want to maintain long term.
