If I don't get regular cardio workouts, my weight loss stalls, even if I'm eating perfectly.  :grr:

I keep telling myself I should just go walk. But, I always find an excuse not to. It's now light enough and dry enough (most days) that I could go walk. I just need to do it.

i just cleaned the living room and kitchen (it is nap time!) and did not munch on every left over cracker and cookie. It is soooooo hard to just dump in the trash. i had a couple nibbles, but that was it. And then a rewarded myself with a bowl of grapes. um, yum? LOL. luckily at our play date this morning the mom served fruit salad for snack. the other day at DD's playdate, the mom made this ginormous delicious looking smoothie and i declined, told her i just ate.

the more i exercise (except those long run days) the better i eat too and more energy i have. Mondays are nearly impossible for me to exercise and i take it as a rest day.

I'm still trying to decide what to do about tonight. I have a raging headache right now, despite the Aleve I took earlier, so that makes me want to just go home and sit and do nothing. Plus, I need to get some stuff done around the house, which makes it hard to get out for a run. And, if I go for a run after Reid goes to bed, that means I'll be wired at my usual bedtime, which will make getting up tomorrow even tougher.

 :sigh:

And then part of me is thinking I'm just making excuses and I need to just suck it up and go.

can you power walk or something so that you won't be too keyed up?

So I was awoken at 5:30 this morning by a small earthquake. Then I had trouble falling back asleep and I am now sleep deprived.

To top that off I am sore from yesterdays run (because I havent been running so I am out of shape) and hungry because I am following WW again. I am just a ball of fun, arent I.  :d

I could, but if I'm going to work out, I might as well run. It's only 30 minutes.

I bet you'll feel better if you run.   :)

Probably. But I have to get dinner cleaned up, straighten the house, and get Reid to bed before I can even contemplate that - by then it'll be 8:15ish. So we'll see.

OMG, no. I can't sleep if the house is a disaster. It depresses me to wake up and walk into a messy kitchen - it's like I'm already behind for the day.

today was not too bad. minimal snacking on DD's food. Nothing terrible. Good portions. I made a tempeh loaf for dinner from happy herbivore tonight, it was pretty good, made it before. it is super easy, i was feeling lazy.

Well I've been MIA a bit...basically I've been cooking/baking instead of exercising.  Naughty naughty naughty!!  Usually I'm able to plan a run and get it done but a combo of no motivation, visitors at awkward times, and the kids rebelling against naptime AND bedtime...it has been bad for my energy levels.

Tomorrow will be different!  At least today's food was good.  Baked oatmeal for breakfast...and, the highlight of my day, was a 2 hr lunch of wine & a chicken salad with LizardMixture.  :D  She's super friendly and easy going...it was great.

Still feeling icky after y'days bender. Did fine today on food. Wasn't hungry for dinner but decided to eat anyway. Got some new veggie burgers and they are really yucky. I might just toss the box.

Pasta and meat sauce for dinner. Mmmmm. Still have a nagging headache, so I'm heading to bed soon. It's not dehydration - pretty sure I slept funny last night because my shoulders are all knotted up. I think that's causing the headache. :grr: I need a massage. But I need someone to sneak me $50 first.

Last weigh in for BL yesterday and was down 1 lb and then I weighed on today and was down 2  :fiery:  Not made about being down 2 but mad about it not being yesterday.  That could have catapaulted us to first place!

My body is so weird.. it can fluctuate 2-3 lbs either way from day to day.  I think I tend to retain fluids some times.. I'm not going to let it bother me, but just look for general trends.

Last night we went for sushi as I am giving myself permission to be a little less strict over the next day or two with my son home. Sushi was great!  But then I came home later at night and ate bread and crackers!  Oh well, one night not a disaster, after 8 weeks of pretty rigidly tracking I think it's ok to take a few days break.  Since I have the next two days off and doing stuff with my son, I am going to eat whatever we decide to eat and not worry too much about it, without going totally crazy and then Thursday, but to tracking rigidly.  I want to take off another 12-14 lbs if possible.
