i think you could do no weights or soup cans. I have 2, 5, 8 and 10 lbs weights at home, but it was a while.

You do need some sort of weights.  I think I did it with 3lbs  :-[  I have an extra copy of the DVD I can send to you if you want it.

Thanks - I may see if my mom has any 8s or 10s laying around. My trainer has me do a ton of reps (100+ isn't unheard of) with at least a 20-pound bar most of the time.

I've only done it hit or miss, so I can't really say.  Much harder than I was expecting, tho!

Good to know. It's like $6. I can swing it. Can't hurt, right?

I'll be expecting a full report Debba!
Meri, sorry you're having so much trouble with the refi.

I've had one of those days where nothing spectacular has happened but it has been very enjoyable.  A morning coffee with a shot of chocolate liquor sure makes ya feel good in the morning.  DH went into town for a massage, yes on MY birthday, and while that annoyed me to start it was actually fine because I really got to enjoy playing with the kids.  We had a good tickle/wrestling match and then a 1/2 hour trail walk.

My mom came over and we had caramel cake w/ chocolate frosting....Mmmm.  The kids took a nap, so I got to do some web surfing...then I took a nap AND I got in a 3 mile run.  Pretty perfect really.  Steaks, baked potato & salad for dinner tonight.

Okay, bought it, and it came with a free download to my Amazon video player. :yikes:

Now I just have to figure out how to rework my workout plans to include this.

Mini, did you buy the full zumba set? I'm super-curious about it.

For anyone who has done 30 day shred - do you have to have weights to do it? If so, how heavy? Despite my fat, I'm reasonably strong thanks to the training sessions and a 30-lb toddler.

No, not a set, just a Wii game.  It comes with a belt to hold your wii controller.

I'm suffering from "are we there yet?"  I keep reminding myself that at a reasonable trendline of 5 pounds per month, I should be at my goal by Christmas.  But isn't it Christmas yet?

#minidriverisagenius

Shut up mini. Just because google changed it, doesn't mean in elementary school, we got it wrong.

She's an awful, awful human being.

I tend to trust Mini on these issues
Mini is so smart!

Ohhhhhh. Dang, I don't have a game console. Oh well!

OMG. At 5 pounds a month.... I don't even want to talk about when I'd be at goal.  :'(

so this third party fucked us with the refi again :( i just called and the form we need has been approved but needs a signature and there are "500 people waiting for a signature, we're not going to sift thru them and find yours" so we are fucked. Mortgage guy is going to try to work something out with the same bank, so once we get this paper (mon or tues i was told), it won't need to be revised, because every time this paper needs to be revised, that takes this company about 14-20 days because they are beyond asinine in their processes. and i spent all my running time on the phone so no run for me, just a big ol mess of angry  :incazzato:

and this is the Cliff Notes version. Seriously. When this is all said and done i am going to seek legal advice because i am pretty sure they are violating HARP. I googled them and holy shit the stuff i found about this company. They are shady beyond shady and assholes for the sole purpose of being an asshole. Really odd and really sad. The attitudes they give are just ridiculous. Sigh. Life goes on :( I was hoping to finally celebrate a refi this weekend. Our mortgage guy said luckily the market is in our favor, but they just won't extend our rate lock for a few more days, it has been extended twice for 2 weeks each time. ARGH.  :argh:
