I recently found one at Costco, it's a Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand called "3 Stones". I believe I  picked it up for $6.99, it was regularly $8.99 but it had $2.00 off. I like to pour it right out of the refrigerator very cold, you can taste lots of fruits specially melons.

One night in a club called 'The Shaking Hand'
There was a forty-two decibel rocking band
The music was good and the music was loud
And the singer turned and he said to the crowd -
"Let there be rock"

I really like NZ sauvingnon blancs... that's what made me realize that although I remain convinced there's a red wine for every occassion, white wine is good too...

My favorite wine right now is brunello di montalcino. Not the easiest thing to find (around here anyway) and I've pretty much liked all the ones we've tried. So, if I see it, and it's not ludicrously expensive- we drink it.

I just had a nice red wine, Cabernet Sauvignon "B.V  Rutherford"  not bad for under $20.  I might do one more glass so I can have a good night :zzzz:

i quite enjoy this, also.  it's fairly easy to find here, if a little pricey.

Justin Vineyards - Isosceles

DH and I had a bottle at a restaurant and liked it so much we ordered some bottles directly from the vineyard.

LOVE the label!  That's often what sucks me in to trying a new wine.  Alas, I have looked this up and there is no inventory on the island.  I will have to keep my eyes out when I'm traveling.

Did you manage to find any for the holidays, mags?

Great stuff... a little bit pricey in our area.

This one might be my favorite of theirs... also pricey here...

I bought this to bring to a small gathering:

I'm not really a wine drinker, so was hoping to find it mentioned here, and it was!

Recently tried a red called Layer Cake that was really good.
which made me very glad, although it may not be the same wine.

hope this one is just as good.

I love these labels!
me too; it's really the primary reason I picked up the Layer Cake bottle.

I really like Layer Cake Malbec for an inexpensive red wine.  They have a number of varieties of wine and it's my favorite.
