Ran an 8..85 in the 60 meter dash this morning, my fastest time in > 4 yars.  Now ranked 12th nationally.  An 85 WAVA for those of you who care about such things.  And my age-graded time was my 4th best ever which is gratifying 2+ years out from my hip resurfacing surgery since it tells me I havent lost any speed (other than due to the normal age curve of course).

I did not want to wait around 4 hours to compete in th2 00M, so instead I drove over to my track and did a quality workout:

3 sets of 2 x 200m, with 200 rest, between 35 and 40 secs.
5 minutes rest in between sets.

wow!  you should be pleased.  that is fast.

I did not finish my race.  I alternated 20 min. walk, 10 min. walk.  After three hours, I had 16.5 miles and quit.  I only had 2.1 miles more to do, but I was not interested anymore.  Too cold, boring course, was running all alone, and a volunteer complained about having to stand in the cold until all were finished.  The water was frozen at the water stops.

20 miles....and it didn't agree with me...my stomach is killing me, and I was nauseated from about 12 (and still)...but hey, last one before M day!

6.00am Mild 20c  ran a lap of Campbells (hilly) 5km all up

9.30am Watched my grandkids (6 and 8) training at Nippers 
            http://www.morningtonlsc.com/#
            Swim out to the turning bouy 150m  (50m wading each way) then onto the boards
            followed by 200m give or take, soft sand run

Thank you!  Not that I'm aware, but possibly...Whatever...I can puke, collapse and die on 2/9... :D
