Inch of snow overnight. Plows got most of it on the busy secondary roads, not so much on the less busy roads. Still made for a bit of a challenging 7K run commute to work. Legs felt a little bagged, and the thaw freeze cycle taking place, decide to subway close to home, and run just 2K from the Subway station

Easy 5.5, it was still icy on the paved path but streets were clear, ran about 50-50 on path-street.

Finally a sunny day with temps in the high 30s.  Snow that I slogged through on Monday is all gone, so an uneventful 2 miles for me. 

Being out of shape sucks!

Cold -4°F windchill start to the morning 7K run commute. Better 7K going home run at 25°F.

A little bit of a chilly recovery run. 22°F felt like 13°F. I got on 6 miles and some strides. Felt a little stiff and tough after the 10 miles yesterday.

This was my third Birkie, last one was 30 years ago in 1996. Both my sons also did it this year, so it was a great weekend.

We avoided the big snowstorm and got maybe 2 inches.

I went into town for a run to avoid the slush out here. I got just over 10 miles in breezy 31°F feels like 15°F. I thought I had over dressed but ended up being pretty happy.

Have a 10K race this week! Top prize is 13 cookies!

Bit of a windchill returning, but just a dusting of snow in my region. 12.2K in partly sunny weather.
