Glad you're still here. I was wondering but I didn't want to call you out.

Some of this fitness tech is great isn't it?
Lol!  "Hey loser, you quit already?!"

Lemme tell you, don't stop running.  It is so, so frustrating to want to just go for a good long run, but you can't.

I've had to really shift my mind around and accept that a 2 hour hike or run/walk is just as good, for now.  But honestly it just isn't.  Nothing beats a good run.

But yes, I am really appreciative of the technology.  It fills the gap of a run club.

Ok, I'm still here, but I've changed course.  Now attempting to do some HR training for a slower build up to fitness.   I'm playing around with pace and breathing to keep my HR at different levels.  It's kind of nice tbh .

7.75 miles and 8 strides. My knee finally felt right after obsessive icing.

I wore shorts but gloves, long sleeves, and a beanie lol

Cold enough at 47° that I am now wearing a long sleeve shirt and a light running jacket, but warm enough that I’m still in shorts. Did a 3 mile fartlek run today.

What are you tapering for?

I did 4.5 recovery after my long Saturday. If it weren't for my knee I would have felt fresh actually.

Ran 12 on the rail trail, with 1st mile as a warm up jog, then the next 5 kind of easy and last 6 alternating between low 7s and mid-high 7s, keeping my heart rate sub 130. Taper time.
