Just mountain biking for me.
I suppose I was “tortising” the local MTB race. I volunteered to ride “sweep” behind the slowest rider in each category.
I set PRs for my two slowest times EVER on that particular 2.5 mile loop. Not just slowest times on a bike— slowest times bike/run/hike!
I guess they turned out to be a 23 minute mile pace for the kiddos followed by a much faster 13-14 minute mile pace for the beginner men.
10 miles ridden total. No time left for a run after all that business.

Another 5k on my new road shoes (12*C). Same course as Monday, still like the shoes
Saucony Ride 18, picked them up on clearance over the holidays.

4k trail run (17*C) still warm out Followed it with a 1:20 mountain bike ride Good times

5k road on my NEW SHOES 17*C unseasonably warm
short run but good news is no heel issues (I’ve been having a lot of sore heel issues on both road and trail last 6 months or so)

Had a beautiful, sunny, 43° day for my 3 mile fartleck run today. How about them Hawks yesterday?

I set out for a bit over 4 but I only got 2.5 miles in. Around mile 1 I started walking up a hill(which I haven't done in years) and went about a quarter mile after I started running again and turned around. It sucks but I'm not too bummed out about it, just hoping tomorrow is better!
It was also sloppy and slushy here but the sun was out and it was about 36°F so it was pretty nice weather.

Big dump of snow yesterday, and a small dump this evening. So just 30 minutes on the dreadmill.

2 miles warm up, 8x30 second uphill going from 5k to 1 mile pace w/ a jog back down, and 2 mile cool down for a 5.4 mile total. Was a bit warmer around 21°F and negligible wind but it was just as dark!
The plan was for 10 repeats but on 7 and 8 I was breathing like I had asthma so I called it and started the cool down.

A little over 4 miles outside. It was dark, windy, and about 17°F but still better than the treadmill.
My ligaments still feel kinda loose from the time off. I'm feeling less down though and I really attribute that to the running.
