Treadmilled it!  3 miles or so.

Eddie - tell me about the chilly half.  It used to be a staple on the race calendar and I'm thinking of signing up as a 48th bday present to myself.

I won't if I'm in any danger of being swept, my ego couldn't take that, lol.

Is it pretty flat?  Good wind block or lots of wind?

I also noticed ATB is in April this year - is that a permanent change?  I thought it was always March.

Blustery Fall day with light showers, but a few ticks warmer than average, so shorts and a long sleeve zip top was the fashion for the day. 10.9K.

1.5 mile warm up, 3x2 mile with a 2:00 jog between, 1.5 mile cool down. Total of 9.5 miles. Killer work out, averaged 5:45 a mile for the repeats.

Chillier than yesterday and just as dark. Wore a pair of gloves on this one.

4 mile tempo run. Nice day so far, temperature of 51° and no rain. Gotta call that a win in this neck of the woods.

5 miles and some light strides.

It was relatively warm but from the time I set out, 5:30 PM, to the time I got back it was dark. Running in the dark is not nearly as enjoyable even with a good light.

New York City Marathon, 3:06 and change which was enough for 4th in my age group, and officially a bronze medal for the Marathon Majors World Championship age group standings. Held onto 7:01 pace through 20, slowed some toward the end, but held on okay.
Shite, congrats!  That's amazing.

My first thought as I realized the mistake was of the Niagara Falls mix up and appreciating that mine wasn't that big of a deal compared to that!

The next race I have planned I've run either 7 or 8 times so no way anyone will be able to mislead me lol Plus with over a thousand finishers I will be thrilled if I'm only following 20 people.
