I saw your moose curry recipe and the after comments. It looks delicious, alas we have no moose wielding friends. Just wanted to give you a ginger storing tip. Either put the entire root in the freezer and grate it as you need it( I don't even remove the skin) or run it thru that awesome new chopper and freeze that. You'll always have ginger available.
thanks, gebuh... the ginger in the stores here SUCKS right now... it's already withering when we buy it (sigh), but I never thought about tossing it in the freezer!
I have a ginger plant in my office that is nearly ready to harvest and I am very excited about that.
