Burgers
« on: November 12, 2012, 11:53:01 AM »
Made these yesterday and they were very nice.

Saute an onion, a red chilli and as much garlic as you like.

Mash a tin of cannellini beans, add 50g breadcrumbs, chopped cilantro, 1/4 teaspoon cumin.Mix in the onion mixture.

Fry each side until golden and eat - makes 4 burgers.

Very nice.

We had it with a side salad, home made raita and spicy roast potatoes.

Are they red and juicy in the middle?  Have that incredible beefy flavour?

Afraid not, I've gone over to being a vegetarian.

I have  to admit, you've given up alcohol and beef. Two things that are very difficult for many people to give up and you did it for your health.
  Well done, sir.

And those burgers sound good.
