Leftover black bean and artichoke pasta from the vegan thread.  And a vanilla yogurt for dessert.  And a Coke.
Ellen stole my joy and I want it back!

I like the Amy's Mexican frozen entrees also.  They are great for emergency lunches.

Right now I am on a Kefir kick.  I have been taking probiotics for a long time, and I have seen a difference in my health. My hair is thicker and healthier than I can remember. My digestive health seems to do better also. I have ibd-constipation variety and probiotics have really helped with it. I also have noticed a relationship between flare ups and when I eat breads etc.  so I have been trying to manage my wheat intake to the bare minimum....which sucks because I love a good bread.  I started drinking kefir a week ago, and am trying to have a fresh glass every morning (in addition to my probiotics) to see if this will help with my digestion, etc.  DH drank a whole container of it the other day, and was then horrified to learn that each cup has 240 calories!

I am 8 for 8 on exercise days. I feel much better. Also have been eating better...for me the two are intrinsically linked. My goal is to do some kind of exercise every am...walk run swim or lift.... And no wine in work nights.

Now I want nachos.

Back to work tomorrow, so back to a more regular schedule. Whew. Contemplating getting up and doing yoga in the morning. It's going to be COLD, though!!

I'd have to get up at 4 to turn on the heat - have to get up at 5 to do yoga. The real issue is that there's no vent in our bathroom, which is where I'll be yoga-ing, so it's always colder (or hotter) than the rest of the house.

So I haven't been posting in this thread much because I haven't been eating healthy or doing much activity but I am turning over a new leaf.

We are determined to get back into proper running shape and I need to drop some weight. I am not far off of what I was when I first joined WW years ago. :(
Today we went shopping and I bought chicken breasts, a bunch of healthy soups, and a ton of veggies and fruit. Hopefully that will keep us on track!

1! I could not do so much as a downward dog in my bathroom! Would an inexpensive space heater help take the chill off? Whatever small steps can set you up for success in following through on your plans, might be worth it.

And MM, good to see you back. Shopping for healthy food is a great start to change things again.  :)

Mostly after work. I suck very badly at getting up early. I may start running at work so I can be done before I come home.

It's not that big - there's *just* enough space from the door to the counter to fit in my yoga mat, and that's about it. I'll probably crack my head on the counter or the doorknob at some point. :D

A space heater might be a good idea - thanks!

Good morning.  I stopped by the market on my way home from dropping DD off for another bag of snow peas.  I'll never be able to eat them again.  :D

I didn't even go crazy at all over the holidays but I did snack more often and often my meals were just a bit larger than usual.  I already feel better today after being much better about my eating yesterday.

Back to work today, which means back to a more normal eating pattern instead of grazing all day. DH is home and not feeling well. Whatever it is, I really hope it's stress-related (don't I sound awful?) and not contagious. Ugh.
