meri, I hope you have some fun and some rest tonight.

I laced up the sneakers again this morning.   yay!  DH took J on a seat on his mtb while my dad rode his mtb and I ran alongside.  We stayed on a forest service road so that I wouldn't risk twisting my foot again on the single track.  Felt a little sore but overall great.  SO happy to be back at it and I love being back in the forest.

I feel like my eating habits fell apart over the last few days but this is a weekend of debauchery.  :)  Jessica has a sleep-over at the JCC tonight ( :fingers: she does well) and we're going to a small theater (with a full bar and bar food), out with friends.  And then probably out for more drinks.

And tomorrow is girls' night out.

We leave for vacation tomorrow! If I can get us packed, that is. I just got back from a mani/pedi and have no idea where DH and Reid are. I should probably take advantage of this and get my stuff organized, at least.

Today was weird. We found out that antags friend passed away. Hopefully the timing will be such that he can go to the funeral.

I did my part by dumping your chips all over the floor!

Those brownies were demolished!  I'm glad I brought two desserts and saved the broken pieces of brownies at home for later!

I feel bad for Antag because it is going to be really hard for him to get to LA this week. It is our last week of work before we go on vacation for the wedding so he has to finish all his cases and turn them in and we have a half marathon next weekend and a houseguest coming to run it with us. This was his pretty close friend and we knew he drank too much but we had no idea he had been doing cocaine and suspect (though obviously we don't know) that it was probably a factor in someone so young having a heart attack. What a sad loss of a nice, highly intelligent guy.

Nobody even knew who that guy was. One guy posted on the evite as a no, then reported "wife's plans changed, I'll be there with three kids" he didn't really even pay attention to them. Who lets there kids eat an entire plate of brownies? I'm going to check the evite and see if I can figure out who he is!

Even Stacy A did not know who he was!  :e) He was REALLY weird and he and two of the three kids were barefoot. Someone did know him because they said "i knew you would be here barefoot" but that was about all i got from it. The kids were really weird. THe boy (they parked behind me) was insisting on carrying my bottle of faux wine into the house and he was afraid i would drop it as i was carrying DD as well. i was like, um, no, please leave me alone. Yeah they were eating a lot of desserts! i could not get a good read on if they were weird or a little eccentric or what. i was shocked when he got out of the car barefoot though.

I didn't realize they actually came barefoot. I thought they had taken their shoes off to put their feet in the pool or something. Bizarre.  Even if you don't wear shoes at home you would think you would wear them going to someone else's house!

Ugh.. I need to rededicate myself... I've been staying the same or going down 2-3 then back to the same for a few months now.  At age 51, I suppose that better than menopausal gaining... but it's so frustrating!

I do great with tracking my food on my fitness pal but nothing is coming off.  Nights are the worst too. I am definitely not eating poorly, but at my age I have to really create a defecit to lose.

I do feel good and strong and muscular, but I want to be leaner... how to get there, that's the question.
