OMG

Rico's cheese. I LOVE that stuff. So salty. Served with those round tortilla chips.

When I go to Sam's to get stuff for the shop, I always pass by those giant cans of Ricos and dream. I would never buy one unless I was feeding a giant party. But then I would probably opt for queso (velveeta/rotel.)

YES! The Rico's! I couldn't think of the name, but that's it. The only time I eat it is at a ball game. And for some reason, it's perfect there.

The best chip is the last chip covered in cheese and is all gooey and soft and bendy.

I feel like I've posted this before?

Yes. Yes it is.  :drooling-5:

I need some water. Just thinking about it is making me bloat.

Well I already have a headache and am bloated, so I feel like I've already eaten a big paper tray of 'em.

Back from yearbook camp last night, and weighed in this morning...gained .8 lbs. Honestly, I consider that a win - the cafeteria food choices were very limited and by Wednesday I was so exhausted that I gave in at lunchtime and had chicken nuggets and fries, and a brownie for dessert. Between that, and the couple of glasses of wine or couple of beers in evenings, I thought it would be much worse. I was careful to have plenty of veggies and fruit, and didn't go crazy with the Starbucks, but didn't stay completely away from all the sweets and stuff. We also do a ton of walking to get around campus all week, and I drank plenty of water. So overall, I am happy that I didn't gain more and I consider that to be pretty much holding my own.

Nice job cgraz!

I was very good yesterday evening. After working late, I was very tempted to meet DH and his friends at the local restaurant where they were doing a cocktail tasting and snacks. I love that place, but it does not fit in an austere plan and I already had some splurges last weekend and will have another this weekend.

I had had a little bit of pasta around 5pm, but not enough to really count as dinner. So I had an apple and that did it. Cocktails and snacks would have been a lot more fun though!

I am going to try cgraz's quinoa and apple breakfast thingy this weekend, having finally gotten some quinoa. Of course now I ate the apple already...  :d

I'm getting more and more sore with each passing minute from my workout yesterday.  Holy moly!!  WE did two workouts from Zuzaka Light on Youtube.  Tomorrow I have paddle boarding!  WOOT!

Antag suggested I come home early so we can run long tonight and I about bit his head off. :) on the bright side I think the scale is down this week.

cgraz that's awesome about your weight hanging close with essentially no gain! I know you were worried about the notsogood food choices available at camp.

I've been walking every day with the dogs, I tried running today with them and it did NOT feel good at all. :( I felt like I had just drunk a gallon of water and then tried to run.  :o Not good. The walking is nice though!

I've had that feeling before, Tricia.  blech.  I hope you don't have it again.

I'm feeling like i'm up for a run tomorrow.  Kind of excited to get out again.

Hoping that was just an off day!

For now, I will wait and try to run again tomorrow! My eating was really good today. Even though I caved and had a scone because I was intensely craving some sugar and carbs. I could REALLY go for some cheese fries or cheese and chips right now.

less famished today (so far) but i have no food in the house. this is what i have to eat today at work-- yogurt (lemon flavor, yuck, only one in the fridge), popcorn, pasta with butter and salt, granola bar, LOL.

I may go to a party with MoS tonight. I will eat whatever I want if i go and enjoy myself :D I have not stepped on a scale, maybe monday or tuesday. I am exhausted though and may not make it out there tonight :( i got about 20 hours of sleep in the past 6 days.

Meri, I hope you get to catch up on sleep soon! 20 hours in six days would have me very very cranky, if I were even conscious that is.
