I ate an entire TCBY shiver this evening.  And the worst part is, my stomach is a bit upset so it's going to be worse soon.  But I popped a Pepto and annihilated the sucker.  I've been craving TCBY for weeks.    :tombstone:

mmmmmm TCBY. One opened up about 15 minutes from me and I have resisted so far. I dated a guy for four years whose mom owned one  :heartbeat:

I looked at their website.  They really try to market it as very healthy.

no matter how they market it, they're calories I didn't need.  BUT I hadn't splurged like that in a while and don't expect to do it again for quite some time.

I did the same thing with the dq confetti cake blizzard. Luckily it sucked, so I only ate a couple of bites and tossed the rest.

Saturday my husband said, "how much weight do you think you've gained since the accident?"   >:(  >:(  >:(

My clothes still fit, so I don't think I gained much.  But I've picked up some bad habits like grazing through a sleeve of graham crackers.  Today's the day I kiss those habits goodbye.

I've been very committed to my PT exercises, which take 1.5 - 2 hours per day.  But I also want to get at least a half-hour on the bike trainer each day to start getting my endurance back.

My big accomplishments for the weekend were stepping in and out of the shower (instead of sitting on the side of the tub to get in/out, and taking a 1-hour walk on an unpaved road.  It's  not hiking, but it's a start.

Yay to the 7 pounds Meri!   I know how horribly difficult it is for you to lose even one pound.   You are my hero.

It is pretty healthy...for desert. Frozen yogurt is better than most other options.

Mini, yay! You're back! I've missed you in this thread. Glad to hear that the PT is going well - it does take commitment - good for you!

As usual, I failed to get up this morning.  :sigh: I suck. However, given last night's dinner, the scale wasn't too bad.

As long as you keep the calories reasonable.  They are not encouraging that from the options that I found on dishes.  HUGE dishes only.

Thanks Debba!   Snacking on DFC (carrots).  Interesting food item of the week is papaya.  I love papaya, but it's a big fruit so I have to eat a bunch of it every day until it's gone or it will go bad.

Holy shit. So, I have to open all the mail for the department today (we take turns). It's going to take all day to sort and divvy up. I want chocolate like i've never wanted chocolate before. At the same time, I really want to be strong and NOT get chocolate, especially after last night's burger and fries extravaganza. But Oh MY GOD, the mail.

Sometimes "fun" foods like chocolate help us get thru boring/undesireable tasks, huh?  I know I do it.

Hold off, if you can, and schedule some "fun" stuff as breaks.  Check in on us, look at pinterest (do you do pinterest), get up and walk around, something...  Maybe that will help?  Yesterday I had the same thing, where all I wanted was a bucket of M&Ms.  I ended up buying a single serving bag, and then lo and behold, got distracted talking to my mom, and didn't eat them.  They are at home now, and I'm hoping my DH will snarf them up before I get there.  :D

That's the thing - I can lurk here while I'm opening mail, date stamping it, and sorting. And seriously, by the time I'm done, this pile of transcripts is going to be almost up to my neck, I think. While sitting. BLAH. And that's all I'm going to do today - open envelopes, date stamp, sort, and file.

Strangely I really like doing that sort of thing.

Most of the time I don't mind, but I'm covering for someone who is on vacation and didn't bother to tell us she'd be gone, and the volume is just insane.

So I am back to enforcing austerity measures today so that I can drop last 5 pounds.  Anyone want to join me?

I will not eat any snacks other than DFCs this afternoon, I plan to have a bowl of soup for dinner and then 1 100 Calorie snack this evening and nothing more.  It usually takes my body about 24 hours to realize that the false hunger pains won't work.  I swear there's a difference b/w the uncomfortable 'false' hunger pains my body transmits when it just wants more food b/c it's used to it vs. the easily tolerated hunger I feel when I don't eat too much at night.

I'm with you!

It usually takes me more like 3-5 days of eating clean to get past sugar/carb cravings that my body tries to pass of as hunger.    Day 1 I usually don't even feel hungry, it's Days 2 &3 that are usually the worst.

My challenge this week is that DH is going away for the weekend, for the first time since the accident.  So I'll be solo taking care of myself and the pets for three days.  The anxiety is making me think "ooh, I can get pizza one night and Chinese the next!"  Yeah, then I'll feel anxious, fat and guilty.  Dumb that my first thought is always self-medicating by overeating.  I already put off Day 1 until today because I knew we were going out for Father's Day at a BBQ joint last night (pulled pork sandwich, potato salad, and fries swiped from DH's plate).  So I can't play that card again to allow a binge next weekend as appealing as the thought is.     Maybe I'll plan a non-binge treat like sushi (which DH doesn't like) that will satisfy my need to pacify my anxiety with food.

I am in... ish. Well, I know I have at least two big splurge meals this week (maybe 3!) so I'm trying to be extra good on the inbetweens. I forgot my breakfast so it was 4 prunes and a handful of pb puffins. 2 hardboiled eggs as a snack in a minute. Lunch is a salad and soup. 2 more hardboiled eggs or greek yogurt + berries later. Haven't decided on dinner yet.

I'm in. I dodged the "OMG, I need something to take my mind of this mountain of paper" chocolate craving - I was too lazy to leave my cube at lunch - so I should be okay for today. I say "okay," because our planned dinner tonight is frozen pizza. I'm going for acupuncture this afternoon, so DH is picking Reid up from school and then would have to cook, too, and that can get complicated with Reid.

I have almonds and string cheese for an afternoon snack. I will not eat an entire pizza by myself, and I will stuff myself full of DFW until about 3 PM, at which point I'll have to be careful or I'll wet my pants while laying on the acupuncture table.
