the radiology people said by end of day Thursday. Called the birth center twice thursday, then left them a message Friday morning, they called at 4:45pm on Friday and said they never got the report from radiology and wanted the # for the radiology place i went to (local hospital's radiology center) and never heard back. left a vm this morning at the birth center (actually REALLY early in the morning hoping to hear back when they got into the office this morning) and just now at 1pm.  :fiery: yes, that is a very angry vagina.

That is crazy!! When I had my first one placed I was in pain for days so my dr sent me in for an internal ultrasound (or whatever it's called). I believe I got the results the same day! I can't imagine why it would take days & days for something like this.

I other news- I made up some greek yogurt dip for cut up veggies (dried onion, garlic, dill, plus lemon juice and salt). So yummy I was eating it with a spoon and feeling a bit guilty... but then I realized it's just like eating savory yogurt and there's nothin' wrong with that!

i posted an update in yammering, but the head honcho midwife called and said it was not embedded and they will give me cytotec tonight to dialate me and will try again tomorrow. no running tomorrow, but if i can avoid surgery, even better. talking with a super smarty friend this weekend, she definitely thinks some of my issues are progesterone caused, so we will see.

Good news meri! And good luck thinking all good thoughts for you to get the damn thing out!

I thought this would be of interest to this group, it's about women's clothing sizes

One of the few places where older sizing is still apparent is in the dress-pattern market. The McCall Pattern Co., which markets Butterick, Vogue and McCall sewing patterns, shows size 8 measurements as 31 ½” bust, 24” waist and 33 ½” hip. Those measurements on Banana Republic’s Web site are somewhere between a size 00 and 0.

Why don't they just do women's sizes like men's pant sizing? I mean, 31" is 31" whether it's 1960 or 2012.

Because they think we are stupid. And apparently some many of us are stupid. It's a number in a piece of clothing. It means NOTHING.

A so so man looks in the mirror and sees a god. A women with a great figure and face looks in the mirror and sees fat and ugly.

That would be nice.

On an unrelated note...I friggin gained this week in WW. Pissed me the hell off. It hardly counts as it was only 0.2 but I was been working my ass off to lose and skipping all the yummy stuff and running (even the day it was 90something) so it pisses me off when I dont lose. I am down about 8.5 pounds since I joined but if I don't get my ass in gear I won't reach my mini wedding goal.

MM, that's a bummer about WW. I've had it happen before, too and it's just so frustrating. I honestly think .2 is the most frustrating thing to see on the scale, whether it's up or down, because it's like, why bother? Why didn't it just stay the same? Or hell, if you're going to gain, GAIN, you know? Hang in there - if you're doing all the right things, it'll pay off eventually.

I went for a shuffle this morning. It went well - I'm still kind of sleepy, but I'll survive, I think, as long as I don't accidentally feed myself to the shredder at work or something.  :luvcoffee: Apparently the promise of a spa day was enough to motivate me. Who knew?

good job! i did not do my run in fears of crampiness from the cytotec, but not too bad, but once i got out of bed, a little crampy, running probably would not have been a good idea. i slept an extra hour and dreamed about mint choc chip ice cream and buffets, LOL!!!! Planning on a 5am wakeup tomorrow, if you need a text buddy :)

That sounds like an awesome dream, meri! I'll shoot you my cell # later - tomorrow morning is probably going to suck. I'm glad I went this morning (only 39 more days and I can book that spa day!), but I'm tired!  :luvcoffee:

Given what you've been through, I'd say some TCBY would definitely be in order.

Hello there!

It appears that I lost 5 lbs over the weekend from the race.  Most of it water weight and I'm trying to get it back....I am constantly thirsty.  I'm having a tough time catching back up on the sleep too.  But it was extremely fun and definitely worth it.  I'm not nearly as sore as I expected, although I did have a massage yesterday that has made me feel worse.

I've been trying to get in some decent food but nothing appeals to me.  AF made a surprise visit 1 week early so my digestive system has been messed up.  Despite everything I feel so good and happy with myself.  We ran some monster hills up & down in beautiful places.  I feel like I could take on anything now, it really has been such a boost of confidence and it has also been humbling-to realize I still have a long way to go to improve my running.  I was so very lucky to be able to have the experience and enjoy it with awesome people.

I have a big urge to head out for a run today, but I know I need to rest a little more and get more fluids in me first.

Great job, Bolloxd! :) Get some rest and fluids, and maybe just do a short run?

Waking up early is starting to catch up with me. I'm sleepy!
