1!

I'd have to see a really compelling reason, and I haven't seen it yet.  I'm drinking a diet mountain dew RIGHT NOW  :D

There was a reason.. I just watched the movie Hungry for Change a few weeks ago and they talked about it.. but now I can't remember.

great article about sugar. and in the end she discussed Chinese Medical theory in regards to sugar and nutrition which was nice to see for a change. In Chinese Medicine, they go by energetics of food, so diet soda and sugar free foods react the same in the body as regular soda and regular foods that are sweet.

Oh, I've seen lots of good reasons, it's just that none of them are enough to make me want to quit.  :D  I'm not going to drink regular soda (too many calories) and I don't like coffee or tea.  So that leaves me very few caffiene options, and I'm certainly addicted to caffiene.

I don't really want to stop drinking it, so that is probably the big hurdle.  :D

Yeah bad chinese medicine juju or whatever is probably not going to get me to stop something  :D  I am sure it is not good for me and so it is a treat only now.  I have gotten sensitive to caffeine in my old age anyway and try not to drink any after noon so I was drinking decaf anyway.  Who wants that!  :D

got my run on this morning, a bit more lethargic than the other days this week, but i did it! easily added 20+ more miles to my weekly mileage. AND the scale was up a pound. I came home late from work last night to a bowl of spaghetti and garlic bread. i ate it all. i probably ate around 2100 calories yesterday, but i also ran for a little over 2 hours yesterday, so not too bad.

The weather here has been awesome. It was in the 70s when I ran last night. I also weighed and I am down! Yay!

The challenge begins Monday, for me. Possibly Sunday, but DH is going out Saturday night to a show and won't be home until late, so Monday's more likely.

I think if you are drinking 2 gallons of anything a day you have a major issue.

At my water consumption peak, I might have been close to 2 gallons a day, but that's water. And I don't think I quite made it to 2 gallons.

Basically, I had an early dinner of ice cream, and then a later dinner of vodka.   It was a shitty day.

I'm throwing away the rest of the ice cream tomorrow.   But I'm buying more vodka.
