It's a new one for me, but it went well today. :) Yay for veggies! And almonds, even though they use up a decent amount of points. The things you discover when you're in your 30s...

I would never make it through the day on my points if I didnt eat them and a piece of fruit with lunch every day.

BOLLOXD!

Hi.  :)   Which C25k program did you use?  Can you post the link?    A friend of mine was totally inspired by the Boston Marathon yesterday and is interested in a C25k program.  The one you used seemed to work really well, so I figured I should send it to her.     Thanks!

That is funny. I finally convinced my coworker to do C25K. She kept insisting that she wasnt made to run. She did her very first day yesterday!

Yes, I am doing Peachtree!!  We are staying in Midtown, so a meet up would be great.   Last year we sat at Frog's and drank $1 drafts and chatted with perfect strangers about the run.  Fun stuff.  Let me know!  Congrats on getting married!

Thanks!

And let's be in touch closer to then to arrange something! Fun! :)

Ok, so dinner was not the best choice- pizza... I had half a small (12? 14 inch?) pizza- cheese, pineapple and hot peppers. It was thin crust at least. It was probably ok calorie-wise, but sodium was probably high....Aunt Flo showed up tonight, so that explains the craving.

Debba- the food change sounds great! I've been bringing cherry/grape tomatoes to eat with my low fat cheese. Helps fill me up for fewer cals. I bought a pepper to cut up, too, but haven't done so yet. I think I will for tomorrow! How was the run? ;)

I'll let you know tomorrow about the run. ;) I was a little hungrier than usual this afternoon, but not too bad. I wish I could have more almonds, but 25 was 5 points as it was, and the string cheese was 2. 7 points is kind of a lot for a snack. :-\ Maybe fewer almonds and 2 string cheeses? I'll keep playing with it and see how things go. That reminds me, though, I need to make sure there are some tomatoes in there tomorrow.

Just got my ass kicked at the gym.  :nono:

5 miles today and boy was it miserable. I got dizzy on mile 2 and had to walk a while but then I felt a bit better and finished it out. I was determined to come in under an hour though so my last mile was a smoking fast, for me,10:30.

good job on a difficult run MM.

I got up at 5 today, well, actually, DD was up around 4, so i was up laying in bed  :eyeroll: and the only thing that got me out of bed was the allure of the Biggest Loser, but it was not ready on Hulu yet! GRRRRRR!!!!! tomorrow. I watched 2 episodes of the Office. DD then got up around 6:25, where she usually sleeps until 7, so i got an abbreviated workout, but atleast i got it in and tomorrow i will watch Biggest Loser.

I have my appt with the midwife today for the mirena removal. DH thinks a vasectomy = neutering  :eyeroll: :eyeroll: :eyeroll: sheesh.

good morning mer.  good for you for getting another early workout in!  sorry about the BL.

I am wrecked.  Thunderstorms last night were not that bad but my DD did not appreciate them.  At like 1 am it became evident that I just needed to let her sleep in my bed for all of our sakes.  But she didn't relax easily.  :sleepy:

we moved DD out of our bed into her own room about 2 months ago. in our bed she slept thru the night, but i did not at all, now she wakes up 1+ times a night most nights (sometimes she does sleep thru) and it is exhausting and since it is so new, i go in there and do not let her back in our bed. it is exhausting for sure. i sometimes second guess moving her since she did STTN, but i am hoping over time she will. she was outside almost all day yesterday playing, so i was surprised she woke up so much :(

DH was up all night coughing, etc with allergies.... so I was too.  Also Rachel woke up several times and it took me forever to fall asleep.  Zzzz.

Puppadoms are good for breakfast but not super healthy.

I did some shopping yesterday.  DH would die if he knew what I spent on running gear.  The stores also had to order a bra in for me....I really hope it turns up asap.

meri, in my experience the body habituates to the waking.  We all have periods of being more awake and she probably learned to go right back to deep sleep when she was in your bed.  Now in her new bed she's not yet gotten back to doing that.  And she's probably hitting that same cycle every night and not going back to sleep right away and not old enough to understand retraining her body.

We went through this with Jessica and we still do from time to time although it's VERY infrequent now.  You know what worked for us?  cupcakes.   :d  No really, we needed to use 'expensive currency' for J.

We came up with an easy phrase (b/c we did this when she was just over 2) which was "no cry, go back to sleep".  We'd get her to say it with us.  Slowly over time she'd stop crying for us in the night and then eventually her body followed and she'd stop waking for us in the night.  And when we'd hit another spell of the waking (and OMG she'd show up at my bedside at 3 am, I'd put her back in bed, she'd cry, I'd yell, nobody would sleep, what a  mess) we would get her back on track with the promise of a cupcake.

Now that she's older, when we go through this she has to go back to sleep for 5 nights before she gets one and counting them down has become fun.  And she'll get a cupcake once every other week or so so that she's not just hollering at night for treats.

yummmmm easter candy.........

so if you read in the other forum, IUD was not removed. Ugh. What a mess. Anywho, the midwife thinks the nursing would attribute more to lack of weight loss than the Mirena.

You are in good company, my dear.  I had an utter and total relapse around my binge eating the last week or so.

Thanks, Courtney. I'm doing pretty well with the eating, but I just can't seem to get out of bed for a workout. :(
