Blergh. Scale continues to inch downwards, but at least it's going the right direction. Anyone have any suggestions for dealing with mold allergies? They're killing me. Claritin isn't doing jack for it, although it would likely be much worse if the Claritin weren't keeping the oak pollen at bay.

Do you have a nasal steroid.

Mold is definately one of the things I am allergic to also.

debba, down is good!!
MOS, I know I can not use the burned calories and lose weight. And yea, it sounds high. Just make note of it and move on is what I would do.

Me too in the moving slowly(crawling) in the right direction, down .8 at this weeks weigh in. Two weeks ago was same, last week skipped my weigh in.
Down 23.2 total. I was REALLY on program this week too....but last week was tough with two parties one right after the other so glad I am back on track and see a loss.

Yeah, I have nasonex, and I've been taking it, but the mold and oak have both been in the insanely high category lately. The counts are just through the roof.  :grr: It's making me drain-y and giving me a nagging headache.

Of course Mini obsessive is wondering how this stupid fracture isn't going to throw me off track.

Shut up mini. Just because google changed it, doesn't mean in elementary school, we got it wrong.

She's an awful, awful human being.

I tend to trust Mini on these issues
Mini is so smart!

I understand.  :(  But don't do that to yourself! Did you call your husband yet or do I have to do it for you?  :bat:

 MINI!!! I broke my foot in 2000 and that is when i gained all my weight. I was so miserable and reclusive. And I lived in Boston and there was a service that delivered movies and Ben and Jerry's to my door :D You will persevere.

I was going to walk on the TM today but I could barely move. I am just doing some emails, internet, etc. I am so exhausted. I wish DH would help out a little more, especially more at night, but whatever. I cannot change someone overnight, but i feel like i am going to keel over.

I may have to move to Boston, if there is a place that will deliver movies and Ben & Jerry's to me.

:D it is a recipe for fatness, indeed. this was pre Netflix, so they may not exist anymore. there was also a company that would deliver HOT fresh baked cookies in a box like a pizza box, slightly undercooked and delicious  :sneaking:

Nasonex wasn't all that effective for me.  I am now taking omnaris (nasal spray) and it's way better.  Call your doc and ask for a different RX.

The Nasonex has been doing pretty well keeping the pollen allergies at bay. It's just now, that the mold has gone up, that I'm feeling cruddy again.

While I often bemoan the lack of a Blizzard delivery service, I can't imagine delivery ice cream or cookies would be anything but bad for my health :D

Mini, holy moly, I'm glad you are mostly ok!!

Debba, mold is one of my allergies, too...  I don't know what is different about omnaris, but it seems to be way better.  I also pair that with Singulair, since claritin and zyrtec were doing bupkiss for me.

It's worth messing with the combo, becuase when you get it right, it's way better.  :)

Gee Mini, I really hope you heal up quickly.  You've got to rest up to heal up!
Debba - hope you're allergies clear soon.  It is has been a tough year for allergy sufferers!  The kids have started making fun of DH for sneezing so much.

Well, it is a good thing pavlova is 'healthy' because that mofo is GONE.  Rachel went psycho and only kept saying more, more, more, more.  David wouldn't even taste it.  I'll make another one tonight since DH's b-day is tomorrow.  Nephew's b-day is today so there will be cupcakes, and I've been designated to decorate his cake for a party on Saturday.  So many temptations around!

I was able to get a 5.15 mile run in just now, plus my push-ups & abs.  Hopefully that will keep the sweets damage to a minimum.

I knew there was a seething beast beneath the calm waters.  -Fionn

I weighed myself and was down a pound, which is good since i have eaten like a horse the past few days. Nothing too terrible perse, besides the brownie, but just quantity.

I also remembered that i went of BCP in grad school because i could not lose weight and i lost most of my college flab between being on the BCP and getting my first Mirena, so i do wonder if the hormones are playing a factor in all of this???? We will see. I am going back on the horse Monday and will eat really well and hoping in 2 weeks to start 2 a day runs :) I am really excited about that. I have also weaned DD and have not nursed since Friday morning. It is really hard on her and her yoga instructor suggested buying her a present so i stopped at target today on my way to work and got her a little Dora doll. It seems as the days go on, it gets worse with her wanting to nurse. I feel awful, but am standing strong. Her friend's mom weaned in the fall and gave me a high five and hugs yesterday, it helped to have her support and she said after two weeks things were better.
