  sounds like it was an anovulatory cycle with the length :( i find that a lot of my patients have 1-2 of them a year, it is not that abnormal, but most people probably do not pay attention to their cycles as much as those TTC.

i have very strong opinions about barefoot running :D

we went to Jazmine Thai (Barry's rec) and it was AWESOME. It was really quiet in W Chester because they had Swinging Thursdays and First Fridays this week already, which was nice. and followed up with my first trip to Kiwi :) DD asked this morning to go back, so more date nights! she does them 2xs a month. There are some cute pics on FB of their yoga.

Another visit to a fun store in the near future? :D

Maybe? We'll see. I bought a bunch of stuff for the trip, so maybe just a few hours alone at Barnes and Noble or something. :)

Good luck with your next phase, tricia - onward is good. (I need to figure out some of that, myself, what with AF making her regular appearance this morning and bumming me out as usual.)

Just got back from two weeks at the beach in CT with family, so am catching up on things here so I hope all of you guys are doing well.

Even with "cheats" that dipped me well into my store of those extra weekly WW points, in total I was down 1.8 from my last pre-vacation weight when I got home yesterday. I was careful but still had a couple of times where I visited the ice cream truck at the beach, had a fried clam roll, ate an onion ring or six, had a few slices of Mystic Pizza followed by an ice cream cone, had birthday cake, and washed it all down with a margarita here or there.

So I am pleased with no gain, and the loss makes me happy. I focused my efforts on making good choices and not depriving myself of those splurges, but not going overboard...and exercising a lot. We walked a lot in general - from the cottage to the beach and back, to other friends' cottages, etc. And I went for a run/walk about half the days I was there, plus a long bike ride one day with mr. cgraz while he was there too. So the activity points really helped.

Now the trick will be to get out of the splurge mindset of vacation and back to daily good eating. The flip side of that would be to also keep up with the increased activity level from vacation and try to do more of that at home too.

I didn't realize that Zoe was at the yoga place until I saw your pictures.  What a great idea though!  You guys definitely should take advantage and have more date nights.. so important!

tricia those annovulatory cycles are horrid too.  Stress always played a huge role for me...a never ending cycle.  And, I *still* get my hopes up every single month even though I know it is impossible without IVF.   :sigh:  Totally ridiculous.

So, I'm currently in my running gear waiting on for nap time and I have a strong feeling I may be skipping the run today.  I feel like I'm lacking serious energy today anyway.

My parents are coming over later for Mom's birthday and I'm cooking some steaks.  Yum.

They did eventually nap and I forced myself to run.  3.1 miles and I'm glad I did it...my knee isn't happy though.

That is the one advantage of having a dog and living in an apartment.  I HAVE to walk her twice a day, and I generally wear running clothes to do it.  I do occasionally bail on a run, but it's generally not too hard to do because I am already dressed and a little sticky from walking her.  It will probably be harder when it's cold.

Hey y'all. Wedding was great! Had a great time.

Antag wasn't supposed to tell me but my parents told him yesterday that a family friend (of 35 years) was killed on Thursday in a car wreck. I looked it up and I shouldn't have. A kid driving a pickup truck crossed over the center line on a rural highway near my parents house and hit the their motorhomr that was towing a boat head on. She was trapped inside when the motorhome caught fire. What a horrible way to die. This couple was one of my parents best friends and my parents even saw the wreckage because they were coming back to their house that day from picking my grandma up in oregon.

Oh, MM, I'm so sorry. :(

I'm glad the wedding went well, though. You're MARRIED!!!!

Also, I hate the scale at the moment. We went to a birthday party yesterday, outside, in the middle of the afternoon ( :'( <-- sweat, not tears) and the hosts didn't really have enough water for everyone, so we were dying.

And today, the scale is up 6 pounds. WTF.  :incazzato: :incazzato: :incazzato: :incazzato: :incazzato: :incazzato: :incazzato:

How can you not have enough water for everyone?  If you run out of bottled water, tap water in pitchers with plastic cups.  NOT rocket science!   :fiery:

I'm sorry about your bad news MM.

We have like 100 beers left over. This may make austerity difficult.
