10K humid morning run.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.

5.38 km humid morning run.
But I did beat the heat, only 27*C(80s F)

Today was a time trial style workout, I was not truly going for time per se, but rather for power.
My goal was to run 20 minutes and maintain something like 220W (+\- 20W).

Mission accomplished, my average for the 5 laps of the neighborhood park (gravel/grass/dirt 700m circuit) was 206W and each split was 200W or better.

This averaged to about 5:45/km during my timed section.

I was pretty happy with this cause it was more watts than I’ve been cranking out recently. But looking at my heart rate, if it hadn’t been so humid, I’m sure I could have gone harder.

As it was, my perceived exertion told me I couldn’t.

Need to try this again on a dry evening run.

Also, I signed up this week for a run that I’d said I’d never do. More on that later…
