Well, my sprint season ended before it had barely begun with a strained groin in the 50m at our all comers track meet. Of more concern is that I think it may be related to my left (good) hip needing an artificial one. I will be contacting the great Dr Su of HSS in NYC next week to look at my x-rays.I’m still able to sprint at 75%, and was able to leg out two triples at senior softball on Thursday. But since I can’t sprint competitively right now I’m switching back to distance running and hope to do a 10K in August.Today: 3.5 miles, very hot, 75°
Impressive work out there DrT. So you are actually racing Pikes Peek in two weeks? Good luck with that. Shouldn’t you be starting to taper about now? I ran Mount Washington twice, that was enough.
