Moqueca! Also chicken tortilla soup. They both come from warm climates This is really easy and I like it: https://www.foodandwine.com/recipes/silky-zucchini-soup
I don't currently have access to my cookbooks, but there's a great moosewood recipe for a cold cucumber soup with yogurt, mint, and dill, I'm sure if you Google you can find something similar. It's great with kebabs from the grill and your choice of bread.
http://www.avaandavocados.com/blog/moosewoods-cucumber-yogurt-chilled-soupit sounds good. Gonna buy some cukes next time I go to the store.
On gazpacho, I'm not wild about the standard way it's prepared, but I love Andalusian-style gazpacho. For those interested, I have attached the pdf of the NYT recipe that I use on the regular. After chilling, I serve it in espresso cups.
Now see, that sounds good. I haven't been all that thrilled with gazpachos I've tasted over the years. Maybe it was the bread? Anyway, will give this style a try as soon as I score some decent tomatoes.
It sounds like liquefied tzatziki, which is delicious.
Pretty much!
The zucchini soup was great. I used a lot of garlic.
