My mom described watching limpkin bash snails on rocks and pull the escargot from the shells (and she has some snail shells from the lakes here—they’re almost baseball size!!!). It’s like that scene in The Talisman when Jack watched the gull eat a clam.

I want to see a scarlett macaw and a great auk.

This’ll be my next painting—a bird take on the classic “dogs playing poker.” I’m thinking scarlet macaw, great auk, emperor penguin, ivory billed woodpecker, kiwi, flamingo, emu.

I saw a spotted lantern fly…but I did not kill it. I’m torn, because they’re invasive and you’re supposed to kill them…but I never kill critters. It’s like the trolley problem, with bugs.

In another puzzler… coulda sworn I posted in the MLB thread about Vogelbach… but it’s gone! Have you had posts or threads just *poof*? I think this might be what they mean by “gaslighting”!!

Yea, here…but in the Yammerboard MLB new thread (started by the redeemed DrWu, the one that’s bound to eventually become mostly “REDSOXREDSOXREDSOX!!!!” )
Maybe I imagined posting there… or maybe that’s what “they” want me to think…
