« on: January 16, 2022, 03:40:17 PM »
A lot of great performances today. Sarah Hall broke Kara Goucher's American record in the half with a 1:07:15 (won by Vicoty Chepngeno of Kenya who ran 1:05:03 fastest ever on American soil) and Kiera D'Amato bested Deena Kastor's AR with 2:19:12 for the win.

Canadian half-marathon record of 61:28 that stood for 23 years was broken by Rory Linkletter in Houston, crossing the finish line in 61:08 for eighth place. He just begun training with American Marathon record-holder, Ryan Hall.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.

Good move! I thought Scott Fauble (who ran with Linkletter at Hoka and in the race) should also switch to Hall but haven't heard his plans yet.
