Ran an unknown distance for 49 minutes or so. 22° and sunny.

Broke out the battery heated gloves for the long run today. Cloudy and windy. Half Merry distance.

Oooh I saw the email about the Birkie... (would be a stretch for me given how little time I’ve had on snow this winter), but I love the way they’re doing it with various trails around the country hosting.

My Sunday Long Run was a post-Covid  2021 milestone...
14.3km at easy-to-tempo pace with a solid block of tempo at the end.
Tried out a mostly flat equestrian trail and found it a great option for a day like today where I was targeting specific zones.
6:28/km pace for my moderate half-hour block at the end that mostly stayed HR zone 2 (with 25% up in low zone 3)
7*C and 64%RH
