Wow chqm8, good for you. I only ran 3.3 miles today, but that was enough.

Thanks!  I’ve been building up to this type of mileage for a few years now.  But honestly it was the change in diet and subsequent weight loss that really helped me.  Not that I’m breaking any records or anything but I feel pretty good.

Another day with temps above freezing, but the windchill bringing it down a notch. Sun was kind enough to come out for the last kilometer.  22.8K
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.

6.2 km brisk walk for my so-called “long run”. One hour.
Kept it in “zone 1” but pushed myself to keep HR (relatively) high.
First thing I’d call an actual “workout” since I began walking for comeback/recovery about 12 days ago.
KMs 3,4,5 all sub 9:00/km.
No issues with either the distance or intensity (although I did wear the wrong socks... too thin).
13*C

Also did a 1.5 hour (super easy) bike ride this morning when it was still cold (8*C). That should be enough to qualify for a ‘long day’ at this stage of the comeback, anyway...

ETA... got talked into another short easy walk. Another 3.1 km and before I knew it I almost had 10k for the afternoon!

4 miles. Again no rain. I’m not complaining, but my waterproof Hokas I bought for rain days aren’t getting as much use as I thought they would. Guess they’ll last longer.

XC skied, with an 1800' climb up to 10,600 feet. That was pretty grueling. 25.5km 2:10.

43 miles for the week with a couple of solid workouts.
I'll stick to running, thank you.
